That's anti-comedy. I'll add that whole business travel bit to my huge "I hate myself" routine. Self deprecating always works.

I am not even an employee, I'm a third party consulting, a contractor, I have absolutely no rights. I am below a sub-human (aka employee). I hate this life dedicated to a job that makes you feel miserable instead of feeling good, I wish there was a way out of it that didn't envolve putting a gun on my mouth (which I will NOT do, don't worry).

"Oh, he's not dead. Not yet."
"Do you know him?"
"Of course I know him, you stupid bastard! It's me!"
Which also brings another interesting question: why didn't Owen rename Luke as Luke Lars, instead of going by the name Skywalker? I mean, Bail Organa named Leia as Leia Organa, right? Maybe because Leia had some brief contact with Vader, and if she was called Leia Skywalker, he would see something fishy there?

I like Robot Monster, because it's a classic first season MST3K episode, and because the movie concept is absolutely hilarious. Also, "Manos the Hands of Fate", which is considered the best episode by some. The worse movie ever shown in MST3K was "Monster A-Go-Go", which is one of the worse movies I have ever seen, almost THE worse - the crew of MST3K later said they had problems making up the material for that movie, since it's SO bad it's not even good, like in "so bad it's good", it goes BACK to being bad again.

Selling which DVDs?
These new releases are the exact same discs, but without the extra discs. Exactly the same. UNLESS you are selling your 2004 DVDs and buying these 2005 editions for less money, so you can have a small profit, there's absolutely no reason for it.

I've seen stuff like that on TV too. Horrible. Bloody sensacionalist media. And they say that they must show "the truth, no matter at what cost", oh come on! That is no excuse to show stuff like that. So, based on their logic, I'm entitled to show porn at any time I want.

I just saw on a local magazine the before and after photos of that woman... And I got SO pissed because there are kids reading that freaking magazine, why do they do that?! They sometimes put pictures of dead corpses from wars or something, and disfigured people, I hate when they do that. The AFTER photo was VERY surprising, she looks very good. There is an obvious scar, but the whole thing looks pretty good.

Now, about the whole exile: I also thought it could be a plot hole, a reason for Obi Wan hiding in Tatooine on ANH and Yoda hiding in Dagobah in ESB. But perhaps they had a reason for it, and all planned out for what Luke would eventually do. Or... maybe it IS a plot hole and GL was just waiting for someone like me to come up with the answer...

Oh great, now that I have half of the Stanley Kubrick colection box... Although I don't own Clockwork Orange and Dr Strangelove, so I would buy those (strangelove is not owned by Warner Bros, but...)

Good question!
I'm not sure... I really don't know. Perhaps he would show Anakin as an old man, and later he would morph him into Hayden. That way he would have the "respectful" actor there (as if other actors didn't deserve our respect!), and would have his will of having, for some bizarre reason I don't yet fully understand, young Anakin there.
Now, as you've mentioned Burt Lancaster and Chalrton Heston as Anakin Skywalker (which would be mind blowing for those watching the movie for the first time, specially if Heston said "damn them all to hell" before dying), I'd pick Lawrence Olivier, but... I am not sure if he was still alive in the early 80s.

Yes, they have a choice, but if we make the exception of having DNA for "criminals", then it won't be long before we do it when dealing with foreigners and immigrants (to protect ourselves from terrorism, no doubt), followed by children (in the event they're kidnapped). Things like this, and the proliferance of surveillance cameras, mandatory internet wiretapping rules, etc are giving rise to a very scary world.

I think this has the intend of being practical, instead of unethical or "orwellian". An "orwellian" situation would be to monitor that person's life forever after he has been released from prison. By collecting a sample of DNA they are basically gathering one more piece of information that could be use to identify possible criminous, which infact ARE commited by ex-prisoners. How different is taking DNA than taking a photo or your fingerprints? I belive it's not a question of being ethical or not.
