Carrie Fisher vs Natalie Portman
Time
I don't like Mark Hamill so much. I mean, I can't think of anyone else to play Luke than him, but still... I don't know, he seems to be so weird... and have you guys noticed how different and aged he seems to be on ESB and ROTJ, compared to ANH?

HC, he is ok. I don't think he is a bad actor, it's not easy to act when you have greenscreens, a prequel script by GL, and GL himself sitting on the director's chair, besides, it's one hell of a resposibility, acting on a star wars movie... one mistake, and all the fan will hate your guts for eternity...

You can't make Ewok-eating into a fast food thing! It's a gourmet thing... First, you have to tie one up, and beat him in the head with a basball bat, then you throw him into hot water, so the hair is easier to remove. After removing the hair, you cut him in half, and remove all the organs. Then you cut his arms and legs out, from which the finest meat come from. Fry it on some olive oil and garlic. I recomend a fine red wine while serving "Ewok a là Lune d'Endor" to your guests. Bon appetit.

Last line of episode 3?

lol "The Video Game"? That's the title for episode 3? Sounds ok by me...

Hayden looks sad, sitting on that greenscreen cube. I think he misses seeing a real set, and real actors, all he has seen during all principal photography was greenscreens, bluescreens, and GL saying: "ok, now, act surprised! ok never mind we'll fix that on post-production... now... look sad! ok, again, post-production will fix that... God I love this job!"

What is wrong with Return of the Jedi?
Time
Bah, everybody steals from someone else, like Disney, Disney steals their plots and characters from someone else on every movie they make. If it wasn't for stealing ideas, we would all be using Xerox OS computers (would be the only modern graphic OS), watching Don Bluth cartoons (no Disney around), listening to the beatles (which would be the only major rock band), listening to the Goon Show (would be the only modern comedy show)...

Which is philosofy... written while in the toilet..?

I've heard that one of the wachowski (dont know how its spelled) brothers, who created and directed the matrix trilogy, actually decided to go "wendy carlos" on his genitalia, and became a woman, is that true? And if it is, perhaps it might become a trend, and GL might do it too... how about, episode 3, directed by Georgina Lucas? (would be exactly as he is now, beard and all, but with long hair and lipsticks)

Changes in 2004 DVDs
Time
George Lucas from 1976 gets out of his time machine, and grabs 2004 George Lucas by the neck:

"Why, you, old fat bastard, what the hell have you done? Greedo is... shooting Han first?! That's not what I meant in that scene! And what the hell is this CGI Jabba, by the way? What is CGI, some sort of evil magic used to do special effects? Whatever happened to stop-motion animation?! And... what in God's name is that thing, Jar Jar Binks? Are you stoned or what? Why did you create that awful, anoying thing?"

"Well... my bank account has more than 1 billion dollars in it, if you know what I mean."

"Oh. So, uh, how about inserting Jar Jar on every scene of every movie you make, eh? Love that little fella."

isn't it clear by now that most people don'y like jar jar? what is GL expecting from this? hasn't he had enough bashing yet?? starting to think that this guy has masochistic tendencies...

Maybe he made us hate Jar Jar so we would accept that scene in which he gives Palpatine full powers. But then again, maybe not, maybe he thought people would love to see Jar Jar as a comic relieaf (gah cant spell). I wonder what the 1976 George Lucas would have thought of TPM.

New music.
Time
Since this is the only music thread... I've bought Air's new album today, "Talkie Walkie", it's wonderful. Now I'm looking for Kid606's new album, can't find it anywhere. And, just for the kick of it, here are my favorite bands. If you see any band here that you don't know, I'd recomend listening to it:

Mutantes (after 1971)
Pink Floyd (from 67-77)
Radiohead (after 1997)
Air
The Doors
Kid 606
Yes
Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Neutral Milk Hotel
Beatles (1967)
Queen (70s)
Portishead
Banco del Mutuo Soccorso
Skank (after 1999)
Los Hermanos (2001)
Kraftwerk
Jethro Tull (70s)
Focus

Cameo for Bail and Jar jar: possibly

Han shooting first: 50/50

Aparently Bill Hunt from DB was in the IGN forum and said the Han/Greedo scene is under discussion at the Ranch.

And I think...

New emperor: uh... ok why not.
Anakin ghost: live mr Shaw alone
New Jabba: Ok, do it
Naboo in ROTK end montage: pointless, don't really care
some new music: hmn... nah.
better lightsabers: yes please
Cameo for Bail and Jar Jar: no, please, don't

I started to answer those two posts of yours, Darth Chaltab, but then I just realized it was useless, and hit the backspace. I'll never be able to change your point of view, and you'll never be able to change mine. We lived different lifes, all of us. We had different experiences. I understand your point of view, and I understand what you are trying to say, but, Darth Chaltab, do you understand mine? You don't have to agree. I don't even want you too agree. I just want you to understand why I say those things, just as I understand what you belive. Opinions, as I said over and over, are like clocks, there isn't a right clock, that's impossible, every clock is a little bit late, or a little bit early, but every owner of a clock belive his one is right, and no matter what someone says, he'll never change his mind.

BTW, by removing violence from TV, I mean the non-fictional violence. Star Wars is ok. And I'd never show a movie like "Natual Born Killers" or "Clockwork Orange" to kids, only to teen/adults. And I don't belive my view of a peaceful world is flawed. People are not evil by nature. It's just that keeping some people "evil-minded" is enormously profitable. We are good hearted people, we do mostly good things. About 0.01% of people actually do "evil" things on their entire lifes. I still belive in us, if peace can never be reached, so why bother living? Let's all kill ourselves right now, if that's the way it is...

I'll not post anything else on this thread, as I belive such topics can bring disarmony and anger between everyone here, and I don't want it here (the best message board I've ever found). But no matter what our political opinions are, we are all humans being strugling to live, and I'm sure you're all good people. I've never seen such discussion being taken in such a polite way.

* Offers handshake to Darth Chaltab *

Plot holes in the SW saga
Time
How about featuring, on the Ultimate Trilogy, a close-up of Ben Kenobi while he is talking to Luke, and thinking in a voice over (dubbed by Ewan): "Sorry Luke, I must lie to you in order to protect you."

Of course, then the camera goes to Luke, and we hear his thoughts: "Lollipop, lollipop, lolli-lolli-loliipop... Man I'm hungry..."
