I remember that when TPM was released, Jay Leno made a sketch about it, and he showed the breakfast cereal for the fans that were sleeping on the line for days, waiting for the film: "Get a Life!". And it had a nerd with glasses on the box. I felt kinda sad.

It's impossible.

Laserdisc is an analog format.


The only possible way would be like capturing VHS to a computer, digitalizing it.

But of course, that would still be a "Special Version". Along with this one, the original one should be released.
