Good things to say about the PT!!
Time
OK, sounds like a chalenge to me, good thing about the PT, let me think...

* Ewan McGregor was ok, Liam Neeson was great.
* AOTC had the best sound I've ever listened in a movie.
* Jar Jar's role in AOTC was OK.
* The plot for the begining of a so called "clone war" was actually good. GL had to come up with a clone war, and he did.
* Yoda's fight was amusing.
* Three words: Death Star plans.

Well, you see, it's VERY low quality. First of all, it's the SEs. Second, I taped it on EP speed, so I could get ANH and ESB on one tape.

Ah! But on the second tape I have ROTJ, the SE, and... Drunken Master II, the original Hong Kong cut! I should get at least 10 cookies for Drunken Master II, the best Jackie Chan movie ever made!

Star Wars TV Series Confirmed & Hamill Talks 7, 8 and 9
Time
I was listening to Mark Hamill right now, and it just hit me: he should do a stand up one-man show bashing Star Wars at the same time he talks about his bizarre experiences with George "childhoodraper" Lucas, I mean, he sounds so much like Henry Rollins in Think Tank. It would be called "Mark Hamill's Dark Side of the force" or something...

Jim Ward took up the reply here, pointing out that Lucas felt very strongly in the artist's right to choose the presentation of his own material, and that while the Stooges weren't around to give the OK to colorization, Lucas himself, as the artist, had every right to decide which version of the Star Wars films to release.

Meanwhile, Curly is in heaven, screaming: "Oh, I want my movies colorized now! Woo woo woo woo! Iac Iac Iac!"

Before episode 3, there will be a short movie by the stooges with full color, techno music and CGI backgrounds.

A Modest Suggestion
Time
People, people, this aint gonna work, it's impossible to organize a large scale boycott to something like this, there are people who will NOT boycott it, even if they agree with us. What we need is to make sure people GET the message by understanding the differences between versions. I'm confident the media WILL take full notice of this in the folowing weeks. That's when we'll strike. Jay was interviewd by a magazine, I'm sure that when the DVDs come out originaltrilogy.com will get media attention, and Lucasfilm will have to reply in a proper way.

I'll trade my VHS copies of the 1997 SEs for a box of any of these cookies:

It's great, but it's expensive and there are only 10 cookies in a single pack. Rip off.

Chocookie!

Another expensive one, but I can eat a whole pack in a couple of minutes

And my favorite:

Wookie Cookies! Yummy... Reminds me of Life Day in Kashyyyk...

"Certainly sir."

And then he trades it for a copy of Battlefield Earth and dies while watching. The end.

The lesson we learned from this story: stop watching holywood movies and read a book.
