Qui Gon's death.
Time
For some reason I don't think GL will explain the whole issue on episode 3. In order to do this, he would have to establish a dialogue scene between two characters, in which one of them would explain the whole thing to the other character (since the movie has no narration and no "greek chorus" thing, that's how he would do it). And I don't see how he could fit such a scene on episode 3. Perhaps he'll let it more "implied", but that would not be clear enough to answer this question fully.

It's Friday
Time
In 3 hours I'm out of here! And tomorrow is saturday - I'll be at the EGS2004, which is a poor latin version of E3 - but hey it's cool anyway. I'll post pics later of me posing next to the gorgeous x-box girls, or next to the nintendo boot beating pikachu to death, or being carried out by security guards...

Flash Cartoons
Time
Reminds me of the Flash cartoon series "Dumbland" by David Lynch (http://www.davidlynch.com/ppv_nm/lobbyppv.html), which is even more bizarre - but not enough, if you know David Lynch's work. Unfortunally, he is now charging for people to watch it... Damn capitalism, what happened to the weird independent filmmaker of Eraserhead?

Edit:
Ok the first 2 episodes are on "trailers": http://www.davidlynch.com/miniswitchboard.html

Anime talk
Time
Starboy you might want to see the original version of Cowboy Bebop. I've heard Cartoon Network runs a censored version.

Lethe, the thing is, I've watched a copy of the original TV release of Evangelion, and it blowd my mind the same way fans of SW were blowed away in 1977. So... I don't know, I feel like it's altering a masterpiece.

GundarkHunter unfortunally no, but I know that anime, and I think my brother has a copy, I'll ask him.

TheSessler: start with Evangelion, if possible the japanese DVD version - since there are two versions now, why not watch the "most complete" one? Gaaahh I feel dirty saying that, like GL is laughing and rubbing his hands somewhere. OK other animes you could watch:

If you like the goofy anime style, I recomend "All Porpouse Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku", if possible the OVA, not the TV series. Also "Naruto" or "Ranma 1/2", which have relatively easy plots and are fun to watch.

If you are into something more adult, perhaps "Cowboy Bebop" if you like sci-fi and noir. If you enjoyed Matrix, perhaps "Serial Experiments Lain", althought I hated it. "Akira" and "Ghost in the Shell" are good movies.

If you wanna see some good old classics, I'd recomend any anime by Osamu Tezuka (but avoid anything produced after 1990), or "Yamato" (known in north america as Star Blazers) - I could recomend the movie "Yamato Final".

LOL semantics

Scientific killing is like, throwing a gallon H2SO4 at someone's, or killing someone with poisoness radiation emitted from a bizarre pseudo-futuristic beam gun.

The Repair and Killing, it's like a Yin-Yang thing. The robot repairs thing with a passion. Yet, when it's needed, the robot also knows how to kill, and does it with a satisfaction. Some sort of a love/hate thing going on.

Half Life 2
Time
Half Life 2 got the best reviews on gamespot I've ever seen (althought I have see only, like, 5 other reviews), and if it's as good as the Half Life 1 multiplayer, I'll be satisfied. Team Fortress Classic, a multiplayer Half Life mod, is in my opinion the most fun multiplayer game ever, maybe as good as Goldeneye for the N64. Surely there will be a Team Fortress for the HL2, so... Gah I can't barely wait. I've been following the development of this game since 2001, 2002, I've waited for it like SW fans have waited for the PT (but I WONT be disapointed)... and it has been delayed for so long, I remember it has been on pre-sell on amazon for almost 2 years!

Half Life 2

Half Life 2. After so many years waiting for it (you guys might want to read about it's bizarre development, a story worth of a movie itself), it's finally here. Well, at least in north america, we down here in brazil will have to wait until november 24th (but I'll get my copy at the south american Electronic Gaming Show 2004 this saturday )

So, has anyone played it already? Any coments on the game?

Well I'm not so sure, but I think it was a radio program written by Douglas Adams in the late 70s, and then transcribed to a book in 1980 I think, which became quite successful and became a comedy mini-series on british TV in 1981. It's a trilogy in five books . I've read only the first one and a few chapters of the second one, until I became kinda busy and forgot about it, I'll eventually read all five. This movie, as the TV show, will be based on the first book I belive (with some modifications I do not approve, such as Malkovitchs character, a new one).
