Video Game I.D. Help, Please!..............

Hello, Everyone!

A co-worker of mine, who knows I'm a big Star Wars fan, asked me to help him identify a video game he remembered playing years ago. He says the game must have come out before November of 1996 ('cause that's when he played it). The stage of the game he played featured a character jumping from what he described as "train car to train car". This "train" moved from the foreground toward the background (thus, most likely a scrolling-effect).

I may be a Star Wars fan but I'm not much of a gamer so I couldn't really help him. However, some elements he remembers from that stage he played are: a junkpile & Boba Fett. He mentioned Cloud City. My first guess was Super Empire Strikes Back for the Super Nintendo but he didn't think that guess was right.

Do these clues sound familiar to anyone? We are trying to figure out the name of the game & the platform he probably played it on.

Any clues / information would be most appreciated! Thanks, gang.

May the Force be with you.

Sincerely,
sidemachine

I remmeber that game, that's an old SW game for the N64, Jedi... something. I'll get the name of the game later.

Cool, is that Richard Kiel over there? You can't go wrong with an italian SW spoof with Jaws from "Moonraker" in it!

Though I do disagree with your reasoning. I think I WOULD be inclined to seek a little levity in a situation like that, if for no other reason than to just counter the seeming hopelessness of it. But that's me.

OK maaaaybe I'm overreacting

But the thing is: I had a copy (well... uh actually a copy of a copy, shhhh!) of the 1995 release and I have the SEs taped from the TV, and on the O-OT he says "lucky to get out of there", and on the SEs he says the last, and back then I didn't know about different audio tracks, and I thought it was something they've changed on the SEs. See, that's why I hate it, pretty much the same way I hate Greedo shooting first.

OK here's my look on the scene: Luke is alone in Dagobah, crashed his ship into the swamp, dosen't know where Yoda is or even if there IS a Yoda - I mean, I surely wouldn't be in the mood for some corny jokes at such a tense time. If my droid feel into the swamp, eaten by a pseudo-monster thing, and gets spit out, I'd not make a joke-y reference to it. As I see it, the "don't tase very good" line ruins the whole psychological mood for the scene, adding an unnecessary and distracting comic releaf to that moment. But hey, that's how I feel about it, I'm sure you guys have your reasons for prefering the "taste so good" line.

I had this one pic of me punching a guy dressed in a huge Luigi costume in an anime convention. Too bad I don't have it with me anymore.

The X-Box girls were NOTHING compared to the Nintendo DS girls! Wow ... I'll post a pic later.

There was no Pikachu-related violence, BUT I did go medieval on some characters of Yu-Gi-Oh.
