Not to mention that IQ tests don't measure what is called the "emotional inteligence", such as social skills, creativity, eloquence, hability to improvise, being the lider in a situation, and stuff like that. Unfortunally I have never seen a real "emotional inteligence" test.

And I see no surprise that everyone here has got big IQs. First, stupid people don't like Star Wars. Second, I have never seen anyone with an IQ lower than 110.

I decided to try it. This is not a real IQ test, as it lacks the spacial vision questions and real mathematical questions, it's made basically of word and number questions. If you just pay attention you can get them all right. It seems to me it's some sort of a scam to get people to give them money - it dosen't even mention the words "credit card" at the webpage. But still...

Thank you for taking the IQ Test at www.IQTest.com.

We are confirming that your IQ Test score was: 155

With the official, "real" one I got 140...

I felt the same way when I first wathec TPM, the soundtrack didn't sound very "star warish". And now, after AOTC, what bothers me is that John Williams is using the "darth vader theme" (he'll most probably use it on ROTS), and it's absent on ANH...

BTW, my favorite piece from the PT is not "duel of the fates", it's "anakin's theme" from TPM. Go figure.

After you have solved it the first time, it gets simple.

But let me add some new rules:

The rabbit and the wolf can fly, but only short distances, and never over water.
You cannot eat the carrot.
No, the wolf and the rabbit will not "become friends".
Yes, the boat is so small, SO SMALL, you can only carry a carrot with you.
No, there is no bridge, and no, you cannot cross the river by swiming.
No, you can't kill the rabbit with the holy hand granade.

A response to the "They're His Movies" arguement

I wouldn't Bossk. Mostly because I didn't spend SO much money on it, and because I don't take it so seriously. But if I knew all this would happen, I'd buy the LDs when I could, and ask a friend of mine to convert it to DVDs (he's the only one I know who has a LD player). I would then sell the LDs today, for 4 times what I paid back then.

SerVente: I know where Uruguay is, I'm from Brazil. It's nice to have another latin american SW fan here...

"m-t" sounds like empty? Really?

OK here's a good, classic one. Now, I belive about 50% of the regular posters might be familiar with it, so I ask for you guys to not reply with the answer if you already know it. It's actually kinda easy:

Imagine you have with you a wolf, a rabbit and a carrot, and you are walking in the woods and you see a river. You must cross this river by using a small boat that rests on the edge of the river, but it's so small you can only bring one thing/animal with you. If you leave the rabbit alone with the carrot, the rabbit eats the carrot. If you leave the wolf with the rabbit, the wolf eats the rabbit. The wolf dosen't eat the carrot. Now, being able to carry one animal (or the carrot) at once, how can you cross the river?

Really? They sing "Always look at the bright side of life"?

Oh well, I'm not sure if I'd love or hate this musical, being such a huge fan of "MP and the Holy Grail" (I've seen it so many times I know every line). But I'm sure it's more of a tribute to Monty Python...

One last question: does it feature my favorite scene? When the guards are instructed to keep prince Herbert in the tower ("You keep him in here, and make sure he dosen't leave the room...")

Probably the media's to blame. How can I put this... well, you wouldn't be a conservative if you were raised your entire life without ever watching television. And before you counter-argument, please do think a little bit about it.

I grew up in the late 80s early 90s and I don't remember anyone even slightly similar to that stereothype. But oh well.

BTW late 80s early 90s was the best time ever... It was great to be a kid back then. Now kids are spoiled little brats who think they are freaking computer genius even though the only thing they know is how to play counter strike, who think true anime is made by pokemon and its clones and the "i want your gaijin money" works from akira toryiama and massami kurumada, kids who are exposed to sex too early (yes too early), kids who don't play in the streets anymore, kids who just want to be cool and popular, kids who listen to britney spears and n'sync and think that's music... Well I belive MINE generation rocks... The only generation that could have an even better childhhod/teenage years would be those who grew up in the late 60s, to late 70s...

I uh, I got this levi's t-shirt, and a nice blue shirt, and a coat, and uh, that's it. Next year I hope to get nothing at all, as I've insisted for more than a month for people NOT to get me anything. I don't want people giving me things, people spending money on me just because it's x-mas.

I did buy a lot of things for other people's though. Go ahead call me a hypocrite.

EDIT: so... many... mispelled words... it was embarassing, I had to fix it.

Cartoons!
Time
OK Darth Chaltab... But what were you refering to? Shounen-ai? Yaoi?

I'm a huge fan of anime as you can see, but I'm not too fond of american and/or european animation, at least not lately. I enjoyed some of WB's cartoons, the old ones and the new ones such as loony toons, animaniacs, freakazoid and stuff. I also enjoyed the original teenage mutants ninja turtles (answering your question, I didn't even KNOW there was a new one), and thundercats. Nowadays, I kinda like the simpsons, and any movie feature animation such as shrek, or anything by pixar, but that's it. Anime is the only real animation I enjoy watching.
