I didn't noticed it, in both Cast Away and The Birds. Maybe because the directors were so good they kept the movie flow in a way that you don't need the "emotion" of a soundtrack to help. Or maybe because we are used to hearing music while watching a movie, and if you think about it, it's weird, I mean, where is that music coming from?

I'll take the original anytime, but... they gotta do something about the sound of the birds, I hate that "synthetizer" feel the birds sound on that movie. BTW has anyone noticed it has no musical soundtrack?

Another bad, bad, bad cartoon I saw once: the "Hurricanes", about a soccer team who travels around the world solving mysteries and playing soccer with steriotyped teams (I saw one where they were in Egypt, and they were playing inside a pyramid against ancient egipcians and mummies and stuff).

This whole "don't hate" thing is pretty vague. There are a lot of things I don't like AND hate. Perhaps you could rename it to "Things we like"?

I heard about it. Aparently it has full compatibility with PC peripherials, and was design to those who want to keep their PC, but wish to you a Mac as well. Very, very tempting. How much it costs, does anyone know?
