Have you noticed how in He-man, there was always a scene in which he would jump into the scene, look both sides, and run?

And how come no one knew price Adam was He-man?! I mean, it's not like Clark Kent, where he puts on some glasses, prince Adam looks and sounds just like He-man. And he has a green tiger like He-man does, can't they get the picture? I've always thought that if I was the skeleton or skeletor or whatever that freaky thing was called, I would hire a hitman to go to price Adam castle and just shoot him between his eyes. Done. He-Man is gone.

It still happens with technology. My Sony DVD player, when I click the stop button, says, "Disc will restarts..." I'm sure there are still typos in games, too, but you're reading them so quickly that you don't notice. No moreso than any other game that is produced stateside. Hell, we typo stuff all the time.

Hey I've SEEN that message on a Sony DVD player!

It used to happen very often, specially when japanese games such as this one were porrly translated by the japanese programmers themlseves so it could be sold in the US. People didn't care much back then; but today, as games are as expensive as movies to produce, it dosen't happen anymore.

The part that Denzel Washington played in Training Day was not a slave, a retard or blind. He won the Academy award that year.

Morgan Freeman won this year for his part in Million Dollar Baby. His character was neither retard nor a slave, but he was half blind.

Was the character that Halle Berry played in Monster's Ball a slave or a retard? I have not seen the movie.

* SIGH *

It was a joke made by Eddie Murphy on the movie BOWFINGER. Chaltab mentioned the oscar for Jamie Foxx playing a blind man, so I said it reminded me of that Eddie Murphy line. OK? I'll be a little bit more obvious ou my posts from now on.

OK, so let's combine a code, like Houdini did with his wife. If anyone dies, he must get back here as a spirit, take over the body of someone, and post the message with your user name, and the word... uh... "gesundheit".

The word "gesundheit" is german for "good health", ricarleite. It's what you say to someone that just sneezed. Whoever dies won't exactly be in the best of health. If they come back as a ghost, make the password "Boooooo!" or something like that.

I'm not sure if you are familiar with Houdini's death code: he and his wife chose a secret word, and when Houdini died, she would try to comunicate with him, she would know there was an afterlife if she got the word in a way or another. She never claimed what the word was, but apparently it was a non-sensical non-existing word, so it wouldn't be a coincidence.

Gesundheit IS an unusual word, but we could use something like... "smorgasbord" (not sure it's spelled correctly)...

OK? So if any of us die (since there are about, let's say, 30 active users here, odds are one of us will die in about 7 years), we must come back and say (or write in our chests with blood while we sleep) the secret word. That way, we'll nto only know there IS an afterlife, we'll know when someone died.

Or... let's write a letter and tell our relatives not to open it until our death, and on the letter we tell them to get into the forum and post, saying he or she died.

When you said "what's the point of watching a TV show without sound", you meant that you got a video on the internet and it didn't feature sound? That's a CODEC problem. There are these things that read the video file (windows avi, divx, viv, mov, ogg), and are able to understand how to show the video, these are codecs. You need the proper codecs, lke the DivX one... The curious thing is, it's usually the opposite, you hear sound but have no image...

And about the quality: I've seen some anime in divx (don't worry these are not available here) that look as good as DVDs (usually 1 gigabyte per hour is a very good ratio).

2. usually the Academy Award goes to a film that does not have explosions, guns pseudo-fantastic era swordfights.

3. I do not recall a best picture winner that had Van Diesel in it.

4. Million dollar bady had none of these things and was (imho) a movie for smart people.

1. Not that they hate him, they just can't get the image of him bending over and making his ass talk out of their heads. It is difficult.

2. Nada to say

3. Almost had one with Saving Private Ryan but Shakespeare in Love won that year.

4. So far as I know, I would have to agree. Just from what I've heard as I've never seen it.

1- Exactly. It tooks years before Robin Willians could get an Oscar.

2- Titanic, LOTR... But I was saying that CK dosen't write these things, and it pisses hollywood off.

3- Just wait.

4- I'll have to watch it, and I'll comment on that later.
