Sequels that should never be...
Time
The CSI episode is going to be directed by him, but I don't consider it a project. Nor do I consider his small contribution to Sin City. The Kill Bill sequel (which is suppose to show that little girl whose mother was killed hunting down the bride) is more a rumor than anything else. "Vega Brothers" was discarted by Tarantino as both actors are now too old to be in a prequel.

The kung fu flick, "Casino Royale" (why not "BATTLE royal"?) and "Inglorious Bastards" are still up. If I had to make a bet on what's his next movie, I'd say "Inglorious Bastards", the script is complete and the movie was in some sort of pre-production already. Although I warn you: the script was so long, they could make THREE movies out of it. Yay more money to Miramax.

OK, here we go, things I hate, maybe it might have happened to you:

Happened to me 3 times, the third being today: when you get a job propposal, and you're not exactly sure that it'll be any better than your current job, although it might sound better... And you don't really want to move on to this next job, feeling insecure about it, but at the same time you don't want to refuse it...

Rusolph Valentino (The Son of the Sheik) Bull Montana (When's Your Birthday) Joe Brown (It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World) Sid Ceaser (Grease) John Travolta (Pulp Fiction) Samuel L Jackson

Victor André. He was in the infamous 1902 movie "Voyage to the Moon" (Le voyage dans la lune), the film with a face playing the moon, being hit by the "rocket". It IS possible, as I've done it before posting, to make sure.

Padme VS Young Aunt Beru

What say the rest of you?

I prefer the old Beru, drinking blue juice, badly dubbed, dressed as she was a character from a sitcom from the mid 70s.

I get the feeling that any repeated rerelease will only happen in maybe a few select cities and that's it for like one or two weeks around Easter for one or two showings a day on a single screen and that's it.

So, maybe "The Passion of the Christ" will be the religious version of "Rock Horror Picture Show"?

I don't think it will. Those who wanted to see it, already did it. Too much time has passed since it was released in video. The whole hype around this movie is gone, specially now, after the oscars, where it got little to no mentions. It won't have a large distribution, so it'll be confined to a small selected theaters distribution. And after people realize it's a cut version... well, I predict it won't go well.

A little bit, but still confusing. Let's try to decipher it.

"I hate the KKK." - OK, so do I.

"There was a protest at my school today..." - OK, a protest...

"...and about a picture of the KKK the students sat in." - About a picture of the KKK the students sat in? Ok, let me try to understand this one... There was a protest about a picture of KKK members? The students sat in the picture? They protested by doing a sit-in? Could you refrase that?

"I wasn't in it the people in it got suspended,..." - You wasn't part of the people who got suspended. Is that it? A better way to write this would be "I wasn't part of the people who got into this, they were suspended."

"but at least they got on the news." - OK I got that one.

You guys are talking about 2001 like it's Battlefield Earth, it is NOT a bad movie, it is one of the best movies ever made, it's a classic movie, it's part of the pop culture references you'll get watching virtually any movie/tv show/cartoon set in space (2001 and Star Wars are both references).

BLASPHEMY!!

I first watched 2001 at age SEVEN, I didn't find it boring at all, and I loved it, even though I didn't understand much of it. I was only able to watch it again at age 15, and at that time it became my favorite movie of all time. I was never bored watching it, and I do get bored easily. Sure it is slow paced, but not every sci-fi movie must be fast-moved action-packed films such as Star Wars.

What, Mr. Joel "I love Colin Farrel" Schumacker?
Mr. Joel "Let me kill the Batman franchise" Schumacker?
Mr. Joel "Val Kilmer IS Bruce Wayne" Schumacker?
Mr. Joel "Where's Robin" Schumacker?
Mr. Joel "More Batman nipples and close-up butt shots" Schumacker?
Mr. Joel "Arnie IS Mr Freeze" Schumacker?

THE Joel Mr. Joel Schumacker who produced one of the biggest craps ever, a monstrosity called "Batman & Robin", which was the worse movie I have ever seen in a movie theater (not counting TV and video/DVD)?

Here's a good thing to do if you want to see how bad Hollywood can get. Get a copy of Batman (1989) and Batman & Robin (1997). Watch the first one, and just when it's over, watch the second one. It's a surreal, strage experience.
