OK i got the Star Wars, DE v2.7 (Towne32 edit) AVCHD.
but i am haveing trubl with ImgBurn.
https://image.ibb.co/jikWnb/ffwe.png

unlike ROTJ. where i got a ISO File (.iso)
i got a BDMV folder with more folders inside.
i tryed this https://www.dvd-guides.com/guides/blu-ray-copy/260-burn-blu-ray-avchd-using-imgburn
but the calculator gets stuck at 99%?

The calculator just tells you what percentage of the disc the data would use… You don’t really want to hit a full 100%.

thank you

hopefully I won’t need to ask anything when I do ESB.

So how’d it go?

I got all 3 now thanks again for the help.

Here’s a thought why do my posts keep disappearing?

How many posts have disappeared? and what were they?

If you are referring to a single post talking about Empire Strikes Back (was it something about audio?) in poita’s Star Wars Special Edition 35mm Preservation thread - then yes, I deleted it.

Please try to post in a relevant thread - which that certainly wasn’t.

Thank you.

Okay that explains one
and yes that was the wrong spot to put that sorry.
I sometimes Post in the wrong thread. Sometimes it’s purely mistake I have
two threads open and I post in the wrong one.
other times i’m not sure where I should post something and don’t want to start a new topic
so I try to find somewhere that is marginally relevant. But I’m usually wrong.
Another missing post was one I thought I put here about if there were 4K laser discs?

This is definitely random and mostly pointless but…
What if you took the technology of Ultra HD blu rays.
and made a disk and player that was the size of a LaserDisc.
I don’t have any LaserDiscs handy right now but I have some vinyl records and
based on the size I think you could get the equivalency of 5
Ultra HD blu rays on one side. I believe that’s half a terabyte.

OK some what helpfull but when I try your link I get this
https://image.ibb.co/bX6FtG/DWB.png

That’s odd. Maybe a pdf copy of that website will help.

I’ll post a link for you with “WeTransfer”. The link will only be good for 7 days, but that way I don’t need to worry about maintaining it.

How to write an image file to a disc using ImgBurn

thank you.
I just got some more disks So i can just try it now.
I’ll tell you what happens when I’m done.

Well, it isn’t amazingly hard, if you do it right the first time it should only take one disc… Ask specifically if you have any doubts, we can help.

that’s odd I updated my post. But it’s not here.
The disc seemed to burn successfully.
but I haven’t had time to watch it yet.
anyway I just wanted to ask about labeling the disc.
they seem to be printable discs that’s all the store had.
can I print on the disc without a special printer?
OR should I just write on it with a stupid Sharpie?

You don’t want to burn the whole folder. You want to burn the image file to a disc, not a folder with an image file in it.

A disc image is akin to a .zip file. You want ImgBurn to effectively extract the contents of the image onto the disc so that the files on the disc itself look identical to the way the files inside the image look.

Harmy's RETURN OF THE JEDI Despecialized Edition HD - V3.1
Time

OK I think I got it this time. I have
"MD5_and_SHA_Checksum_Utility"
“Return of the Jedi - Despecialized Edition v2.5 AVCHD readme”
“ROTJ_DESPECIALIZED_v2.0_AVCHD”
"ROTJ_DESPECIALIZED_v2.0_AVCHD.mds"
Any thing I need to do before I try to burn a disc?
Whats the
“MD5_and_SHA_Checksum_Utility” for?
Do I burn the “ROTJ_DESPECIALIZED_v2.0_AVCHD”
and the
“ROTJ_DESPECIALIZED_v2.0_AVCHD.mds”
Or only the
“ROTJ_DESPECIALIZED_v2.0_AVCHD”
I only have 1 double layer blank DVD at the moment.

okay after several failed
and 1 partially successful 10 hour download I managed to get the HARMY DEEDVI V2.5 AVCHD MANUAL rar on my PC.
I then used 7-Zip to decompress it.

i got "headers Error: Wrong password?
and
Wamings:
There are some data after the end of the payload data
CRC failed : Wrong Password? : ROTJ v 2.5 AVCHH\ROTJ-DEAPECALIZER_V2.0_AVCHD.ISO

I wanted to see if it would work at all before I tryed to burn a disc

so I tryed to play the file with VLC
because that can play almost anything.

I can’t play it at all. What gives?

Honestly, WHAT the problem is should be pretty darned obvious, you need a password to open the rars correctly… I’d say what the password is, but I don’t know if that’s allowed (though it should be darned easy to guess with only a few attempts), so I’ll defer answering that till I know if I can.

Edit: Unless… what the heck did you mean by partially successful download?

i used the password from the The Ultimate Introductory Guide
it seems to uncompress the rar but i can’t play the.ISO

PS
By partially successful download i mean after days of haveing my download get to 80 some % and
crash after waiting hours. the last time i actually got the rar and not a broken download.
i just can’t play the ISO.

Cardboard box projectors?
Time

OK I wasn’t going to ask this here but no one else I know seems to have a brain.
I’ve seen people make cardboard box projectors, that use smartphones and tablets.
I tried it out of curiosity. but I have a problem. Everything is projected backwards like
a mirror. Words go from right to left. Using Android, is there any way to temporarily alter the display?

My suggestion would be that they should be posted on another forum or cloud storage that requires a free account to be set up to view them.

That way they are still easily available to the general Official Trilogy owning community, but not TOO easily available.

No one wants to poke this mouse.

For links. What about using a free email account?

Set up an email account. put the links in an email sent to the same account.
PM the password of the email to people who ask for it?

that just happened to contain The Despecialized Edition?

What, you think they fell down holding a stack of blank discs and they accidentally got a bunch of Harmy’s work all over them?

What are you even talking about?

This is what I am saying.
If I want a copy of The Despecialized Edition I can’t buy it.
I have to download it my self and burn it to disk my self.
But if I am not smart and or have bad internet I have to find
some one to do it for me. Now disks, labels box’s and shipping,
all cost money. And I would want to reimburse the person who put
together a set and mailed it to me. Also putting it all together takes time.
Time is money so reimbursing the person for there time seems reasonable.
So would I be buying the The Despecialized Edition? Or Would I be buying blank disks, labels box’s and shipping, and paying off a favor?
