Would it not be amazing if we got a Darth Vader movie directed by Christopher Nolan?

I’m seeing a lot of really good points here. This was a thought that just came across my brain and not super developed. I was looking to see what you all had to say, and I’m so glad to see all your responses.

i don’t see what that offers to expanding the Star Wars mythos, seems to limit it in a way. Star Wars needs to move beyond nostalgia and the OT. If anything as much as i enjoyed them the sequels proved that. Star Wars is stuck in the past. There are so many worlds, creatures and adventures they could create and make something new and fresh.

I totally agree with you. I wonder how George Lucas’s sequel trilogy focused on the Whills would have turned out.

Right? I think A Darth Vader movie that takes place between Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars (around s1 of SW Rebels) would be absolutely amazing. Vader is a really interesting character, and the purpose of this movie would develop him, and show his inner conflicts in that time. Even more than that, it would be a break from the Star Wars releases we are used to, as it is a movie about a villain. I thought Christopher Nolan as a director because not only would the usually dark tone of his movies fit with the theme, but also he did a great job with the dark knight villains and, IMO it would be cool to see Darth Vader get the same treatment. Christopher Nolan is very creative with what he does as well. Just curious what others would think of this.

The Phantom Menace - anyone want to chat about TPM?

That’s one thing that bothers me sometimes. People nowadays say that all of the practical effects of the original trilogy look old, but in reality, some of the effects could be indistinguishable from modern day CG. For example the super star destroyer in Empire looks absolutely incredible. Also, when people say ThE gRaPhIcS oF tHe PrEqUeLs WeRe WaY bEtTeR, each of the prequel movies used more practical effects than the original trilogy, even though it’s hard to tell with the added CG.

The Clone Wars (2008) - Episode Guide

True. Again, I didn’t make the 1-5 guide, but if I did, I might not even include that because of how, even though lots of the episodes excluded are good, part of what this guide is about is being picky with what you watch so that it doesn’t take as long. Also don’t get me started on Jar Jar stuff. In season six there’s a weird arc I left out where we learn about Jar Jar’s love interest who is abducted by a cult and almost sacrificed. Yay. Fun.

Awesome! Thanks for the compliment. I agree that maybe the bad batch arc isn’t quite as important as the siege of Mandalore, but the reason I included it was mainly because the reveal that Echo was alive was really cool to me. Also, I had been searching for a guide of what to watch in rebels, and I’ll definitely have to take a look at yours. Thanks again! 🙂

The Clone Wars (2008) - Episode Guide

Hey all, this is basically my first post here, however I have seen and been inspired by all the great work on Original Trilogy for a long time. This is a guide for what to watch of Clone Wars if you are short on time (or just don’t want to watch a bunch of filler). Aside from adding in the Mortis Arc and getting rid of the movie, the guide for seasons 1-5 was not done by me, however I cannot credit them as I do not know who they are. Whoever you are, thanks a bunch!

(feedback would be appreciated)
