Watch it again. The Tie is in flames, a laser bolt comes from out of frame, then the falcon zooms overhead.

i think that's wat bugged people about the PT or at least one of the things anyways. u never see a soilder without his armor in the OT, so seeing skin under a glove or helment bugs people.
people know already that they're people in armor, not droids.
on the laser subject, as bingo had already said, the armor was made to feed fear into civilians. only the special commando stormies got the pricey durable armor.

look at the empire at war expansion version of the Executor. that's gives a good idea of the size.
love to c a video mock up of that. a vaderios, possible u could take some scenes from the battle of Endor and make some mock ups? just to show the battle to be more tense than it seems to be.
as much as i would like that, i've no room in my house for it. does it come with the sparkles? :p

i always assumed it was a tie bomber. it always confused me though why they'd consider a tie bomber a shuttle. if that was the case the line should of been, "get a tie ready," or "get a bomber ready," OR "get a tie bomber ready".
the last two lines sound kinda threatening though, but u get the idea.
good point! and it was the best of the PT btw. anyways, i can't wait to wake up christmas morning to see that "Santa" gave me a copy of SW Renascent! ;)
