Should The Off Topic Section be more moderated?

Everyone who thinks this bar needs more cops hanging around or a list of rules on the wall should just find a new bar. This is one of the few places left when we can smoke inside, practice freedom of speech and get in regardless of age.
I say we keep it that way.

"This place can be a little rough" and I like that just fine.
If anybody feels unsafe then maybe they should frequent a more hospitable establishment.

Here's what makes me cautious about TFA

 Ahahahahhaaahaha!

Thank you for the laugh.

He should have mentioned something about TFA contributing to global warming in there. If he's going to make statements no one's going to take seriously, then he may as well have gone for the gusto.

To be clear, I didn't bother to read his thoughts on TFA.  I thought it was funny that he says he's "cautious" about the movie in this thread while insisting it will suck in another thread.

And while insisting in yet another thread that there is no point in debating anything about Star Wars anyway because we will all die someday.

Considering some of the projects Hayden's been in lately seem to go direct to video, (Frink knows what I'm talking about) it's nice to see him cast in a major production again.

Not to be rude to him or whatever, but... why? He's terrible in everything I've seen him in (the 2 PT movies and... Jumper? Looper? ...Something like that.)

Luke Skywalker wore a bucket hat. (yeah, yeah, not in the final film)

So I see nothing wrong with a character wearing a cowboy hat.
MOST of the costumes in Star Wars come from real world clothes, not crazy sci-fi outfits.

That Clone Wars show does suck though ;p
And that character wouldn't fit into the OT.

Happy Beer Day, USA! (04/07/2015)

Yeah, I've tried Black Crown. I worked for Brown Derby liquor stores for quite awhile and still get to hang and try all the new brews and attend liquor/wine/beer classes. It's great and I get to try everything without dropping cash on a questionable six pack!
But anyway, I don't like the Black Crown. I had one customer who liked it, but other than her, you're the only other I've heard give it a thumbs up. I don't think it's terrible, but certainly no good. ;p
I haven't liked the taste of Budweiser since they sold the company to Belgium. Which is strange because SO MANY good beers come from Belgium. Obviously the general public doesn't taste a change, but there are enough of us who can. There's a new beer brewed out of St. Louis by the one guy who didn't sell his share of the company (or something like that) and has now started a new company that brews the original recipe. I tried it on St. Pattys day and was very pleased. It's the original Budweiser! I can't for the life of me think of the name... but I'll get it from a friend and post if you're curious.

The only light beer I'll drink is the occasional Budweiser (never Bud Light) which is only 0.1% away from a regular beer anyways, and Guinness which is 0.9% away from a reg.
I'll never really understand the Light beer thing. If people drink it to cut calories and carbs, there's not enough difference for it to even matter. And it always tastes like crap. Why won't they just have a normal beer? Why is Bud Light so popular?

Also, I lied. I'm not starting with my trusty stand-by, Levity, but instead I'm about to kick things off with another favorite, The Sixth Glass.

Nothing Matters Anymore. Climate Change/Global Warming Will Drive Humans To Extinction In A Matter Of Decades
Time

Meh. Nothing lasts forever.
Why complain about it? You've already stated that you believe the car has gone off the cliff. Why not enjoy yourself on the way down?
You say we shouldn't be debating Star Wars and such because the world is gonna end in 200 years? SO WHAT?? I'll be dead by then and not becasue of global warming, but because we all have an expiration date. I'm not gonna give up my hobbies and what few joys I have in life just cause we're all gonna die (unless, of course, that would help the situation, which it won't).
My dad had that talk with me when I was very small.  Death is the only thing life promises and pays off on. Deal with it!
And, no, he didn't put it to me that way :p
