But LH is right about over simplifying genres. I really hate classifying music by genre because it’s all so different. I can say “I mostly listen to rock n’ roll music” and 10 different people could think I listen to 10 different types of music, none of them being what I like.

Southern Gospel. That’s the only genre of music I can think of that I don’t like. I could say “Modern Country”, but that’s semantics. I love old country music. Pre 1975ish.

I love this movie. I watched the dubbed version and was surprised at how good it is. Hadn’t heard the dub in probably 20 years.

But we’re not talking about a hypothetical person. We’re talking about generalfrevious. And he’s now saying that the acting, dialog and story he liked when he watched, is now crap 'cause RLM said so- not because that was his personal experience with the film.
That’s a sheep.

Sure, plot holes and such can be revealed and change your perspective. But if you’ve watched the film and liked it, then somebody says they thought the acting was bad and the story was stupid, why would that change your opinion? If you watched and liked the movie, then those gripes obviously don’t apply for you. Why take someone’s experience with a film over your own?
