If it’s not in the film, it isn’t “known” to the audience.

Sorry to say, but the audience knew the word “Ewok”

The obscure novelization giving info on how the Emperor gained power & the massive advertising juggernaut plastering EWOK on everything are very different situations.

What happened with the Original Trilogy OSTs?

You can always just listen to them on YouTube. There are plenty of people who have uploaded the soundtracks there.

YouTube compresses the hell out of things & the files uploaded usually aren’t top quality in the first place. YouTube can be great for a quick listen, but Tapiture seems to be looking for high quality audio.

I really hate that companies can screw around with your digital purchases without a word being said. Once something is purchased, it should be yours.

this could have been directed by David Lynch.

I think he’d have gotten better performances outta Harrison & Carrie. That alone would’a made the movie much better.

[Damn. Joke doesn’t work as well when my posts are separated by page. Not really joking, though.]

STAR WARS: EP VI -RETURN OF THE JEDI "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - ** PRODUCTION HAS NOW RESTARTED **
Time

Wondering what the plan is with the SE end celebrations.
As 005 points out in his WIRED article, it’s odd to see Tattooine & Cloud City, which are supposed to be small, insignificant locations. And now that the PT isn’t part of Revisited, it would be weird to see Couosaunt (sp?) & Naboo.
I’ve never liked these new shots & would be happy to see the ending remain on Endor.

X-Wing or Y-Wing, which ship would you prefer?

I agree! My personal favorite was X-wing Alliance. I can absolutely see arguments for X-wing or TIE Fighter being the better game, but the story mode combined with the better (at the time) graphics and capped off with the excellently simulated Battle of Endor (complete with diving through the Death Star II in the Falcon!!) really clinched it as my personal fave. GREAT game series and a true shame we haven’t gotten a modern sequel or remake of some sort!

As for the original topic, it’s a tough choice. The X-wing is obviously the sexier choice. But the Y-wing is almost like a flying tank that’s so ugly it’s beautiful. The wanna-be fighter pilot in me makes me ultimately pick the X-wing but I’d absolutely wouldn’t be above taking a Y-wing for a spin from time to time!

All of this, all the way.
Thing is, X-Wing has to be a PC game. You need to use a controller & the keys to really feel like you’re in the cockpit. So many great key commands. Wouldn’t be the same with just a PS/XB controller.
Can you imagine online with head sets & teams? Oh man. That’s what me n’ my late buddy used to dream of.

The title couldn’t refer to Anakin because he dies at the end.

Sure it could.
Anakin’s Return is a big deal in the film. He doesn’t just show up n’ keel over, he returns & saves the galaxy by killing the Emperor. He also Returns proving Luke right & Obi-Wan wrong.
“I can bring him back to the good side.”
Anakin’s Return is the crux of the film!

Again, not saying I’m right, but there’s nothing that makes this idea “wrong”.

About the title: since it was originally Revenge of the Jedi, it never was about Vader.

According to the Empire of Dreams doc, it was originally Return, but when a producer said it was a weak title, George changed it to Revenge, before deciding to change it back to Return saying “a Jedi doesn’t take revenge.” Which is true, not only in “the Jedi ways”, but in the film itself. There is no Jedi who takes revenge, but there is a Jedi who returns…

I dunno if mine is the intended meaning of the title or not, but I think my reasoning is sound, I’ve seen nothing that negates my idea & I’m yet to see a better explanation.
Luke bringing Annikin back is really what the story in this movie is about, so wouldn’t that be what the title is referring to?

I’m interested in everyone’s thoughts. What do you think the title means?

Racer Revenge has been available in the Playstation store for a while. I snagged it last year and played the first couple races

Any good? Pod Racing is the only thing from the PT that I like. Despite hating the drivers & the race itself, I love the designs & idea. Seems very Star Wars & hits my hotrod button.

Who are they kidding with that price! I think I paid that much a couple of months after it was released.

Is it even a remake of Jedi Academy, or just a port of the old game?
Looks like a port. Looks awful.
