The ONLY reason why I bought the Bluray set were the fantastic deleted scenes. I have seen the movies from the set once and I never plan to watch them again, but the "bonus discs" are great

What's the source of the scene actually? Is it a different TV broadcast or what? The WEB-DL source nor the HDTV sources which are "available" don't have this scene

The main problems of the Hobbit movies
- 48fps
- 3D
- too much CGI
- too much "filler scenes" just to make the story into 3 movies
If the Hobbit was done on 24fps 35mm film with a blend of miniatures, matte paintings, animatronics and CGI and would be one 3 hour long movie, it would be so much better.
The PT had much more problems
- illogical plot filled with plot holes
- too much CGI
- undeveloped characters for which I don't care about
- bad acting
- bad directing
- bad editing etc

OK now I'm confused - why are you guys so excited about this film print exactly? I mean I haven't seen the Bluray version for several years (I'm not a fan of this film) but wasn't the BD version "good enough" ?

I personally don't HATE the movies, I just think they're stupid.
But I like to watch them in the order 1,2,3,4,5,6
I had no idea wtf is going on in the prequels and apparently George had no idea too. But then I've seen the Mr. Plinkett reviews and I started to understand the movies and I agree that George wanted to do his own Citizen Kane, but failed miserably.

Child molesters belong to jail, no doubt about that. But I see no reason to "boycott" TMP.
He was absolutely boring and useless in the movies. I guess the main problem is he didn't scream and called everybody a motherfucker.
The ONLY scene which I liked where he was was his death scene, maybe because it was the first time he showed ANY emotion in the whole trilogy. Not sure however if it was his fault or George's
Some 15 years ago while I was at high school, our school was named after a (locally) famous writer from the 19th century. Suddenly a Christian organization claimed that the writer died on syphilis, and suddenly all Christian parents started to pull their kids off the school.

So the characters are basically
- Space Aladdin
- Violet Wookie
- Shaggy Rogers as a Jedi
- Female Boba Fett
- rusty version of R2D2
- a green tailhead
and the officers are typical Disney villains (thin Jewish looking guy and fat dumb strong guy) and of course Agent Wolverine without claws
OK I hated the animation style, but I liked the characters immediately. It took many episodes till I started to like the Clone Wars characters. The story was OK too
