Am I the only one who things your latest pics are too pink?
Am I the only one who things your latest pics are too pink?
Some of the first episodes were pretty hard to watch, I felt so bad for Hartnell
Isn't this a print from team -1 ?
My question wasn't meant as criticism or anything like that, just a normal question. I actually AM working on "something" The Motion Picture related, that's the reason WHY I asked, because I have absolutely NOTHING to add as bonus materials.
A dumb question - what did happen to all the promised extras - the alternate commentary track, the promo photos, the 3D stuff, the production footage ... Was it ever released? I'm asking because I found out none of the stuff is on my copy and now I don't know if I just have one of the previous versions or if FanFiltration changed his mind and didn't release it?

check this, the original making of featurette of ST:TMP
Could somebody please reupload it ?
I really, REALLY like your colour correction, except for the crushed blacks
I have absolutely NO problem with the fact that the special edition(s) exist. My only problem is that I can't legally watch the movies which I fell in love with when I was a kid in a normal format which doesn't look like crap on my HDTV
Come on, Power Rangers and the Star Wars Holiday Special are the PERFECT thing to watch when you're drunk
They release the films every 7 years, so I'll wait till 2018. These are not the discs I'm looking for, move along.
Oh God, I remember the old forum like it was yesterday. I feel so old :-(
The theatrical cut of Star Trek 6 is on the 2009(?) Bluray release, although some people claim it has different coloured closing credits.
Here is the full list of changes done to American Graffiti : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069704/alternateversions
The sound mix on Alien 3 SE sucks, it even uses on set audio for several scenes, but as a movie it's much better than the theatrical version.
But to the original question - I know only about the Star Wars movies. Which is even more frustrating.
The deleted scenes on my PAL DVD are 576i @ 25fps, the deleted scenes on my BD are 480i @ 29.97fps, all of them could be ripped without any problems using MakeMKV. I never heard about 1080i versions of the deleted scenes
I will avoid the update as long as possible
I usually deinterlace it if necessary and then I do AssumeFPS(23.976) in Avisynth, but no idea if it's an "optimal" method, it's just fast and delivers acceptable results for me. If you want to start with an NTSC source you need to do an inverse telecine
Looks very "soft" and "blurry" to me. But still better than the official bluray :)

I managed to rip all discs with MakeMKV without any problems
This place is a bit too silent in the last days
Well ... it looks like old Carrie Fisher to me
Well - I haven't got a clue what TPM was about. AOTC and ROTC were really stupid, but at least I knew what's going on. TPM seemed just like a bunch of nonsensical boring scenes glued together. I have to get Frink's version

TPM has a good, well constructed story
What? There is another version of TPM?
OMG, real sets ! No f***ing green screen rooms. Animatronics! Puppets ! Robots ! Gee, it almost looks like Star Wars ! This video made me excited to be honest, which is a feeling I haven't had with anything Star Wars related for a long, LONG time.
A dumb question - is this in any way different than the official release? I thrashed my copy 10 years ago because I thought it's the same as the official DVD except the wipe
