Could "Force Vision" explain how Leia knows what her mother looks like? Discussion
Time

So it just hit me the other day that Leia told Luke she knows what their mother looks like, based on Images/ Feelings. At this point Luke says he has no memory of her, also explaining that “The Force Is Strong In My Family…”

As we know Padme died minutes after they were born.

Could she have come into contact with an item that was owned by Padme? If so, did she have a vision similar to Reys?

I would be interested in seeing him do one of the spin offs.
Particularly if he could do it under an assumed name.
You could announce his directing of one of them but his was actually directing a different one, just to see if audiences could sense his presence so to speak.
It would be an experience to see how he would direct a Star Wars film he had no script input in.

But that’s just not going to happen is it?

That could work, but it doesn’t seem like it will ever happen at the moment. It will go great if he could learn from his Directing mistakes and have help from other Directors.

Lucas is done with Star Wars, not only would Disney not hire him, but to come back to Star Wars after (I imagine) working so hard to emotionally deal with leaving would be crazy!

He’d also be trying to work with a story he doesn’t even approve of! So IMO it’s just really wishful thinking…

Yep, I do agree with you on that. I kind feel sad for Mr. Lucas.

I’m sure he’s crying in his four billion one dollar bills.

I didn’t mean it quite like that, but I do get your point.

After what Disney did to his animated film Strange Magic last year, I doubt he would want to direct anything for them at the moment.

Disney probably isn’t too thrilled with him given the comments he’s made lately either.

I also think that it probably won’t happen do too the recent events that took place these past few years between him and Disney.

This Petition was started about two weeks ago by a Brazilian fan who would like to see George Lucas return for the final episode of the Sequel Trilogy. As of now (January 10, 2016) it has over 16,000 supporters.

He states that he doesn’t have a problem with Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World) as a director, he just feels that he’s not the right person too direct a Star Wars movie.

Thoughts?

What 'a Star Wars Story' / anthology / spinoff film would you like to see?
Time

It may not be a film, but I would like a live action T.V. show called “Star Wars Legends” or “The Legends Of Star Wars”. It will basically be about the old Non-Canon EU. Each season will be based on one book or game in the old EU, with the season’s title named after the book or game. Each season contains 10-15, 30 minute, episodes; and could be a show that is on Local Sations (i.e. ABC).

The Force Awakens: Official Review Thread - ** SPOILERS **
Time

My thoughts on the movie:
It was a fantastic thrill ride.
Everyone did great with the material that was given to them.
Kylo Ren is an excellent villain.
Rey finding her Force ability was Awesome.
Finn finding out that he can change, great.
Poe was an enjoyable and likeable character.
Harrison Ford is truly back as a matured Han Solo.
There are many funny moments in this movie, but it’s not dumb funny.
Sure a few things were recycled, but not a reboot of Star Wars.
There were a lot of call back to the originals. Even a few to the prequels, I think?

The only problem I had was that we didn’t get a beather to really take in Han Solos death. I think Edited a little differently would have made it better.

Overall great movie, I plan on going to see it again.

I just saw on the BBC that the Star Wars fan who had little time to live and was able to see a cut of the film has just passed away.

Makes me happy JJ was able to grant his wish.

Just heard this as well and I’m really sorry to hear about his passing, especially so soon. I hadn’t heard if he and his wife had children or not. Being a young widow won’t be easy either way. His passing was very quick since the story last week that he had seen it.

I’m glad they worked it out so he could see TFA early.

I’m so glad this man got to see the film before he passed. I hope he enjoyed it. May he R.I.P.

If this shot is representative of TFA’s overall aesthetic then I’m getting even more hyped than I already am.

Also the more I see Kylo’s lightsaber in action, the more I’m warming up to it. I know it’s technically a gimmick, but I like that it’s something completely different from what we’ve seen before. It just seems so vicious, and I like that, it really does seem like something a bad guy would use, and it’s a bit less elegant than Vader’s saber (so him being a copycat is kind of reflected in his weapon.)

Oh, BTW, did anyone else hear the Wilhelm scream at 1:21?

That Tie Fighter shot, and the sunset with the vaporators are my favorite.

I like the way Kylo’s lightsaber has a fire look to it.

Yes I faintly heard the scream, but it is there.
