As Wook says… there have been a few groups of these sleeper agents go off en masse in the past. IIRC back in August & September of last year we took down around 1400 spambot accounts that had amassed on here over a 3/4 year period.

IIRC Rikter knocked up some quality cover art for these two releases - they should still be up and part of his vast Star Wars cover collection which can be found in the An Index & Help Thread for Case Covers, Disc Labels, and Fan Art….

Also in there are ‘SW: Ewoks’ and ‘SW: Droids’ covers from Prillaman and Blackout - and there may be others I’ve forgotten about - so well worth checking through Rikter’s awesome collection from back in the day.

There is also a ‘small screen’ cover section and a ‘television & others covers’ collection in there too, which may contain some useful covers or art.

A rare and intriguing ‘Droids and Ewoks’ website: http://droidsandewoks.weebly.com is well worth a visit - if they haven’t got many pieces of art on the site itself… it may be worth getting in contact with the admin there and asking if they know any good sources for artwork on these two series.

Yes mate, they are the new 2019 Special Edition releases - aka the ‘Maclunkey’ version.

In our group of like-minded video nuts… who’d happily spend hours trying to work out which of all of us had the best tv and video record to watch films rented overnight from the local rental videoshop on…and NOT whose mum had the best coke & biscuits in - we had some shocking priorities back then 😉

The 80’s ‘fuzz’ and wavy images on the screens all added to the vibe of the films for us - especially on those low-budget horror films like Puppet Master, the Hammer Horrors and even sci-fi films like the OT, The Last Starfighter, Battle Beyond The Stars etc.

I do remember us trying to record the hired OT tapes by rigging up two VHS machines together - and the rigmarole involved in doing it… sometimes successfully, many times not (or the quality being so bad it was not worth the effort!)
 

Top thread screams, I may try and see if the old video player still works over the weekend, and give Star Wars (a '95 Faces tape) a watch on it…
