Sorry Luke - I did a search on the USA site of play.com (www.playusa.com) and only the original DVD came up.

If your DVD player is listed on www.dvdrhelp.com you may be able to find that it could function as a multi-region dvd player and not wait for the R1 Donnie Darko release.

I've no idea about any cover work, though I imagine there'll be a few on www.dvdcoverart.com

Cerbero's all black covers are VERY cool - I wonder what they'd look like if the colours were reversed, so it was a white background with black lettring? (Sort of the Ultimate Inksaver set)

Aren't the OT dvds (TR47 & the anamorphic set) region free - and will play on any dvd player - regardless of region?

I think the NTSC logo appears on a load of people's DVD covers as that is actual source of the laserdiscs used.

(Or have I missed something - as usual?)

Cool cover Pagz - I really like the front picture.

any plans for an Ep 2 Clone War cover?

I've been trying to think of a picture to use for it's (and Ep2's) disc label - any thoughts please share 'em and I'll try and find some.

I'll have to redouble my efforts to get MagnoliaFan's covers off him on AIM... that way we'd all have 3 choices of covers

Lads - you've obviously forgotten that the floors of 1977 are vastly inferior to the floors of 2004 - technology has caught up, moved on - so to speak.

Even flooring filmed at the time of shooting AOTC was inadequte - so only CGI flooring aka 'flooring of the future' would suffice...

It's a shame that Saavik wasn't used (instead of Valeris) in The Undiscovered Country - would've made films 2, 3 and 6 into a cool trilogy.

Another bit of info:-

The DS9 writers originally drafted the end of DS9 with the Federation LOSING the war with The Dominion (though TPTB nixed it) - I know it would be very UnTrek of them to have an ending like that - but it would have opened up interesting possibilites for a new series (instead of ENT) and even an intriguing ending for VOY...
