Cool idea of having a linked index to all the various projects.

Any chance of including the massive dvd covers thread somewhere on it too m8? So many links, ideas, pics, fonts, other sites etc, on there...

sorry for the delay with an answer, Hoichi.

Rikter has a dvd full of covers, discart and inserts you can get hold of. He also has a bittorrent file of covers that you can download.

IIRC - means ‘if I recall correctly’

good stuff m8 - the more I look at the backs of those covers the better they look - such a simple yet effective design, not cluttered, yet it has all the info you'd ever need, and is instantly recognisable from other covers.

Great set of 8 pictures for each film too.

Hoichi - they are similar to a set Rikter has - he may know (or be) the owner of that set... IIRC someone on novastation.com siad they were doing something very similar to that around 5/6 months ago?

Can see them now - very nively done THX - especially like the design of the backs of the covers

If you have the time, energy and commitment then it'd be great to see what Jaster Mareel suggested in doing PT covers, Magfan covers, alt ANH cover, bonus materials cover, and 3/4 disc boxset covers... if not, cheers anyway m8

I'm not sure if the brightness IS too high - IMHO it softens the harshness/abrasiveness of the CGI in these two films and maintains a similar feel and look to the Original Trilogy. I don't know if Magnolia did this be fault or design - but I do prefer it this way (could be that my eyesight is just bad of course! lol)

Each to his own I suppose...

The channel 4 UK comedy Spaced is well worth getting - not only for it's SW references but is possibly the funniest comedy to come out of the UK since Red Dwarf.

Will there be a hint (or more) that Palpatine had a hand in the conception of Anakin in your Edit, m8?

What do you think of outing Grievous as being Darth Maul (put back together after his 'death' in Ep1) upon his mask being removed? Would possibly give some symmetry/foretelling of what can be acheived by the Emperor and what may happen in the future to certain other individuals...?

Seriously sweet covers - reminds me of the Palitoy (Kenner in the USA?) SW toy packaging of the early 80's

Very satisfying to hear that MagnoliaFan is already on the case for ideas of an Ep3 Edit too - the circle WILL be complete...
