The Cowclops Transfers (a.k.a. the PCM audio DVD's, Row47 set) Info and Feedback Thread (Released)
Time
Title : Row47 Original Trilogy DVDr Set - based on Cowclops / TR47 v1 Set

This version is exactly the same set as the Cowclops / TR47 v1 set, EXCEPT each disc in the trilogy now has a basic title screen, and that the 2 errors - 4 blank seconds in ESB before the Leia welding scene, and a possible stutter during a scene where a speeder bike explodes in ROJ due to a large bitrate jump, have been corrected.

This version was completed by RowMan.

If you notice an error or have something to add to the above description please post them below and they'll be edited in later. Many Thanks.

Editing Notes : Hooked up the s-video out on a Pioneer Elite CLD-59 Laserdisc player to a Sony Digital8 camcorder with analog in. Recorded the video to DV format by way of the camcorder, and used firewire to digitally transfer the video into the computer. From there, used several programs to filter out the noise from the laserdisc. Then, encoded the video to DVD format with CinemaCraft Encoder SP. Finally, authored the DVD with DVDit PE and wrote it to a Ritek 2x DVD-R with a Pioneer DVR-104 drive using Nero.

Glitches / Errors : ESB has 4 seconds of blank screen before Leia welding footage (At 50m 31s). ROJ - on some DVD players there MAY be a slight stutter when a speeder bike explodes due to a bitrate jump.

A woman’s husband comes home hammered every night and she always yells at him before going to bed alone.

One day she decides to try some reverse psychology. When her husband staggers in that night, she’s waiting for him in her best lingerie. She sits him in an armchair and gives him a backrub.

“It’s getting late, big boy,” she says after a few minutes. “Why don’t we go upstairs to bed.”

“We might as well,” slurs the husband. “I’m going to be in trouble when I get home, anyway.”

Police, acting on intelligence received, have evacuated near on 30,000 people from Birmingham - especially the Broad Street area (bars, clubs & hotels) and carried out 4 controlled explosions so far.

Was up there earlier, the police are not treating this as anything other than a very serious threat.

Two women are walking home after a girlie night out.

They are very drunk and as the walk home is taking some time due to their state, they find themselves desperate for a wee.

At this moment they are passing a church and decide to relieve themselves behind the headstones in the graveyard. As they finish they both realize they have nothing to wipe themselves with so the first woman decides to use her knickers and throw them away.

The second woman is wearing very expensive underwear and is reluctant to lose them, but then she notices a new grave nearby with lots of new fresh flowers, amongst which is a very lavish bouquet with thick soft ribbon.

'Just the job' she decides and without another thought duly pulls the bouquet over and uses the ribbon to dry herself.

Their task completed the women continue staggering home.

Next morning, the husband of the first woman phones the husband of the second - " We need to keep an eye on our wives, Mine came home with no knickers on last night!"

"You think you've got problems" exclaims the second husband "My wife came home last night with a card stuck up her arse that said, "We'll never forget you - From all the lads at the Fire Station"

I knew I should have had a bet on how long it took FatBoy to come on here with more presumptive spoutings. DOH!

I don't think Magnolia HATE the prequels - that's a pretty big jump there you made FatBoy - maybe he just thought they could do with editing here and there?

How easily forgotten that, IIRC, his Ep1 Edit was for a project as part of an editing class, and then gave them to friends and family - from which they spread out and started to appear at stalls at conventions, and so on, until it winded up on forums on the internet.

Has MagFan taken 'months and months' to do an edit? You make it sound like he's slaving away non-stop at his computer desperately trying to 'stick it to' GL and McCallum - no job, no family, no friends, no life - just hate... I had no idea that you know Magnolia's daily schedule.

As Magnolia states at the start of his Edits - it is just another point of view - a shame that people can't take it as just that.
