EDIT - The member Handman made a really quality signature - a riff on the moderators’ signature - yet a lot cooler.

A few other members have expressed the opinion that it may be confusing to differentiate between the two signatures.

We ask no other members have a signature that resembles that of the moderators - to try and allay any potential confusion.
 

A big thanks to Handman for our new moderator logos - and would point out that the moderators sig is also centered, whilst Handman’s sig is situated to the right of the screen. Handman keeps his current signature, which is pictured below:-

I read an interview with Terence Stamp (he who played Zod) and from time to time some people stare at him trying to place him - when he thinks they’ve realised who he is - he occasionally does the ‘Kneel Before Zod’ thing (with a pointed finger towards the floor) 😄

It should come across clear and concise enough to let fellow posters know who is a moderator - and we can always change it for something else quite easily if we find something else or better etc.

You’re probably right mate (and I hope you are) - though in a few years after this Sequel Trilogy has finished and they may be struggling for quality standalone stories - the temptation may be there to do a ‘re-imagining’ of The Prequels…

It has seemed to work for other ‘franchises’ (I loathe that word).

Thinking about it I had a similar layout issue on a couple of older budget tablets running android Ice Cream (I know!) - running stock browsers a year or two ago - though it was not just in the Announcements Section of the site, more a site-wide thing.

Hopefully any info will help Jay find any issues site-wise.

After many years of printing sci-fi and Star Wars dvd covers, discs and the like… I try to keep things simple - copy 'n paste onto a USB flash drive 😉 It’s always nice to have something a little different on the shelf too.

I came across a rare looking French VHS box set the other day, and with a little inspiration from Z6PO posting a picture of the laserdisc boxset of that set, have opted to ‘make’ another USB Flash Drive Frame (a simple cheap black Ikea Ribba-style photo frame - with a Star Wars background pic)…

^ I edited / adjusted / made up some of the lettering in MS Paint - so it’s not perfect - but should suffice…

I kind of like my names as it is - and would like to keep it separate from on here - I really don’t want my family or friends calling me oojason or moderator - ‘idiot’ has sufficed for 43 years - and will very likely do so for a good few years to come.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017)

A mess and waste of a film that actually had a quality premise and a decent cast.

Directed by Guy Ritchie - who tried, for whatever reason, to being some ‘Snatch’ and ‘Lock Stock’ to this film - it did not work.

I purchased the ‘Faces’ Trilogy vhs boxset not long ago on ebay - bought for pennies and is in great condition too - my nieces and nephews look at me with some bewilderment when I take out this strange looking box called a ‘tape’ and enter it into a monster of a machine called a ‘video player’ 😉
