Around 6/7 threads below this one in the Star Wars Preservation section… there are a number of threads on Harmy’s Despecialized Editions - which’ll hopefully help you find the info you are looking for.

There is also an Index thread pinned at the top of this section of the site - with a few links to various threads on the Despecialized Editions.

^ an intriguing article (with video - and a few useful links contained within) on how data breaches, hacking and misinformation could be tackled - along with three specific areas of ‘dysfunction’ that he said were harming the web today:-

• malicious activity such as hacking and harassment
• problematic system design such as business models that reward clickbait
• unintended consequences - such as aggressive or polarised discussions

May be worth giving adywan’s Revisited Edits a watch - for more of an alternative view into a ‘Special Edition’ (whilst still keeping the vibe, pacing and tone) of the Original Trilogy.

Just seen George RR Martin’s Nightflyers got canned after just the one season - disappointing that - thought it had a lot of potential, and after a slow start, would have made for a quality series given enough time. Doh!
