I much prefer the grain version. The denoised version, to me, looks like it’s not quite in focus.

As to using x265… while I agree it is the way of the future, currently playback is problematic for many people including myself. Even though file sizes would be larger using x264 (for equivalent quality) x264 gives most people buttery smooth playback even at a high bitrate. I vote for x264.

I just reloaded in Premier Pro and the frames I thought were missing are there.

Let me first say thank you to all the contributors on this and all the projects on this forum. I’ve following you guys for years.

EDIT to this post: I made a bad remux and lost 6 frames which caused an audio sync with GOUT. The frames are there in the original files. The sync issue was my error. all frames are accounted for.

I have LD (1993 definitive) rips from many many years ago of all three OT movies with LPCM audio. I remuxed the LPCM audio to v2.0 as a test but the audio isn't in sync, it's about a quarter second too early.

Your despecialized version has a slower opening text crawl correct?
