***//BUILDING EMPIRE\\: PAL & NTSC DVD - NEW EDITION NOW ONLINE! ***
Time
My guess is not, because ..

Only the radio drama of the first Star Wars actually includes any lines or scenes deleted from the original film.

Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi were written without any recourse to the original scripts, or deleted scenes, or anything, and are just expanded versions of the films. (Jedi not even much expanded.)

Therefore, it would be pointless to include anything from the radio dramas for Empire and Jedi.

However, from the first Star Wars, a couple of lines have proved very useful to deleted scene reconstructionists ...

Star Wars: Deleted Magic (Released)

Oh. That cover's not bad. At least they picked a semi-decent cover that I would recognize.

It annoys me that the price is so high and no one gets a cut but the dirty bootleggers (who I've talked to at various conventions and they always turn out to be huge jerks, so I can dislike them on a personal level), but hey, bootleg sales at conventions (and even Ebay sales) open this film and the information within to an audience who wouldn't find them otherwise. I know I've bought things at conventions to satisfy a curiosity before, back in the day.

Help: looking for... 'The Thief and the Cobbler' in widescreen - the Japanese DVD?
Time

Does anyone have the rare Japanese DVD of The Thief and the Cobbler, in widescreen?

Only a pan & scan version was released in the US, and I don’t want to shell out all the money for the Japanese version if I don’t have to!

I restored this classic, butchered film to its director’s cut status years ago, but in pan&scan format. Would love to redo it digitally, properly.

Also: anyone got the Australian/South African cut, The Princess and the Cobbler (closer to the director’s cut), at all? I have a crappy SLP VHS dupe of it, but I know it’s on pan & scan DVD at the very least.

Infor on how to get the various versions of the film on DVD:

The future Star Wars TV series
Time
I know nothing, but a guy who apparently has a friend on the early shoots that are apparently going on says that his friend said that the girl in it was crap (and from Lucas' hometown, so probably a family friend) and that he didn't think it was very good.

Which is basically what I figured. That it's gonna be eye candy and not very good. Like, y'know, the movies.

Take this with a grain of salt, as it could be bullshit and comes from someone who's only been on a couple of shoot dates anyway.

Ghostbusters: We're Ready to Believe You (* unfinished project *)
Time

>>*note: I saw one other scene mentioned a couple times on other sites involving Ray and a ghost getting frisky with him while he's lying down (?)

The ghost part of this scene was actually included in the final cut as a dream sequence, if you recall. I don't think the complete sequence was ever released? I forget what was on the new DVD. It involved Ray and I think Winston visiting this house wearing civil war outfits for some reason, and a ghost performs oral sex on Ray. It was thought to be crap, and too risque, so they just used the FX parts as a dream.
