The Official babyhum Release Thread
Time
Thanks for another great release. Interesting to cross compare the two versions (US/UK) of the Myth program. Would these programs have had other versions, maybe Japanese, German, French? (will WookieGroomer make a split version...)

Very fun to listen to them discuss the 20th anniversary... And I love the multiple clips where Hamill gives his "it's a fantasy" schpeal and the Brit Death Star complaint. Hamill's just a great ambassador for these films.

WOOKIE GROOMER PRESENTS: ADDICTED TO STAR WARS (Released)
Time
(My NG dl is a little slow just getting to review the 1080P sample)

There's some minor playback errors at the bottom edge, not sure if it's my system (G5, (2) 2.66 GHz) not being able to keep up. Most noticable in the Rancor fight sequence, some choppy, blocky grey areas appear intermittenly on fast moving objects, similar things happen on the RotS side but less often. Also there seems to be one row of pixels above the RotS which don't match. Was this version created overlaying onto the old version?

THE DEATH STAR 5.1 - [English] Nice name. Did any different audio leveling happen between the V1 and the 1080P? I remember Empire being more ever present then any of the other audios.

The Isolated Music Score 2.0 - [English] does the track just flip between scores throughout?

[Someone (GoodMusician?) on this forum is compiling, in high quality, the complete scores for the prequels. Anyone remember the thread title?]

WG:AtSW should be promoted as the release which will make you buy an HDTV!

fantastic, thanks for taking the movie viewing to the next level.

"The Clones Revealed" (Released)
Time
Anyone got a copy of the leaked storyboards (t-bone's cutscenes mention) from the Obi-Jango fight and Mace-Jango fight? I always assumed those two sequences we're shorted because of the leak and the Droid factory sequence was added to make up for the loss. That was one of the big spoilers during those times, some grandfather "found" them in a trashcan and gave them to his kid... at least that was the story. They we're blue pencil drawings from what i remember.

Another thing, wasn't there an alternative version with Anakin's hand covered in Bacta during the wedding scene?

"The Clones Revealed" (Released)
Time
I'm only a half hour in, but so far it's wonderful, being a complete spoiler fiend while the film was in production it's great to revisit all the behind the scenes stuff.

Although i'd hate to admit it but i'm going to have to recommend some of George's wisdom... "Faster More Intense" yes it's great to watch the whole movie again, but it's not necessary to have everything included. The point of the feature is the work which went into the film, so for me Clones Revealed lags a little (not much cus so far you've found clips or factoids for almost everything) when i feel i'm forced to sit through the movie itself without any added commentary or alternative footage i get slightly annoyed. i had this same problem with the other fan docs, so it's not worth worry about this point for more then a second.

Don't underestimate the cheesy fades, they could be used when you've got several picts of one of the sets (especially if they are from the same angle) or models and instead of just hard cutting or fading, use a cross fade or one of the other standard tools most video editing applications come with.

And maybe it's because of the software you used, why did you choose to have every image stand alone full on screen?

Also no references so far to the novel, did you choose to stay away from the novel since it was less canon then visual or audio evidence?

So far, bravo on the research, it's amazing how much stuff you've managed to work into this cut. Can't wait too see what you dug up on the battle sequences.

George Lucas & Seth Green collaborate on ROBOT CHICKEN: STAR WARS
Time
Episode : "1987" - Vader Collect Call
Episode : "Vegetable Funfest" - Spoilers of Star Wars
(not having any luck finding the Vader Luke chat episodes...)

UGO interviews Doug Goldstein producer of R.C.
UGO: Were there any scenes or bits in Robot Chicken: Star Wars that were left on the cutting room floor that are particularly close to your heart?

DOUG: There was one that, on the one hand, touched on a well-tread topic, but I thought was very silly and funny. It's the Han vs Greedo talk in the Cantina, and in the sketch they start shooting each other but no matter how often they fire, they always miss. Even if they have their blaster right up against each other. Greedo looks in the barrel of his blaster and even fires at his own face but keeps missing. Eventually, Han gives up and tosses his blaster away but when it hits the ground, it fires and hits a bystander dead-on. It was silly fun, but didn't make it until the end. \

Info: DVDHolocron.com - My tribute to all of you - repository of SW DVD Knowledge
Time
This is a great idea, as Russs15 has pointed out, it's a time consuming job for one person to keep track of, so having a community which can imput the data is very necessary, especially to those looking to get involved a wiki is an easy way to contribute. This way a creator can post their .nfo shortly after the disc is released.

Maybe put the official releases first just so that if someone with influence does see the site, they maybe more forgiving since you gave the official stuff high priority. (and I would change the direct link to torrents. Convert them to a search query as vcdquality does. Although it will piss off some leechers looking for a quick fix, it will remove one level of direct responsability for the file distribution from the site.)

Since you've mentioned TV shows, how complicated do you want to get? OT.com was discussing collecting all the SW Documentaries and the following static database was created: Flimsiplast Database to just document what was out there. (the "Casting Auditions" has an example individual entry) It was an idea of how to display the info and a start to see how vast the possibilities were.

FYI: OT.com Upcoming SW TV Thread
YouTube/GoogleVideo/Etc. is a whole other category to consider.

Looks and works great! Thanks for the contribution.
