Help Wanted: Star Wars films with audio description. Can anyone help out??
Time
These are neeto. Almost as if they took the Audio Book Records and applied that logic to the whole movie. I've only heard audio descriptions in US tv shows, and there the additional voice is usually much lower, almost faint, so that the original audio is not modified. Here they hard clamp down on the movie audio whenever the descriptions come in.

Weird line at ANH ~10:20 "and his legs, slightly appart, as if he'd soiled himself"
ESB just before the credits, listen to the shape of the ships...

George Lucas to host showing of Star Wars "1977" for AFI's 40th anniversary.

Thanks for the heads up. Here's my e-mail:

Hello, you've got on your website (http://www.afi.com/tvevents/40th//) a mention that you will be playing:

"Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)"

This movie never existed. If you are intending to play "Star Wars: Episode IV..." then that would be the rerelease from 1981.

I sincerely hope you don't fraudulently advertise playing the 1977 "Star Wars" but actually play the 1997 Special Editions at your ceremony, that would be tragic.

Didn't know about the youtube version, but http://swccmty.page.tl/La-fuerza-lo-acompa%F1a.htm this review of the ?unaired? documentary has been posted over in the preservation forum at one point. This website has had access to other releatively unknown SW docs, the owner of those doc is someone called IG-88. You might want to contact the website to see if you can get the e-mail address for this elusive individual.
