So this would have erased RoboCop 2.
So this would have erased RoboCop 2.

"Babylon Fields" 2007 CBS failed zombie necrophilia pilot:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3315295143249630002#
Babylon Fields was a proposed television series that featured reanimated zombies as characters. Rather than being portrayed as malevolent monsters, however, the recently deceased return to their homes and attempt to pick up their lives. The pilot had elements of black comedy as well as drama.
Great premise, could have been great.

Dreams on Spec is a 2007 American documentary film that profiles the struggles and triumphs of emerging Hollywood screenwriters. It was written and directed by Daniel J. Snyder, who learned first-hand about the screenwriter's travails in the late 1980s when he was a teenager working alongside aspiring writer/directors Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary in the famed Video Archives video store in Manhattan Beach, California.

Why Universal Subtitles is different
- It's built by a 501(c)3 nonprofit working with a community of volunteers (find out how to volunteer).
- The code is free and open source (get the source code)
- It's built using Javascript and HTML5 instead of proprietary software like Flash
- It's 100% web-based, there’s no software to download.
- You don't have to host your video with us, and you're not dependent on any one video host, platform, or format.
- People are free to add subtitles to any video
I've found a copy of Making of a Saga and sync'd up the first one minute which was typed out earlier.

Now you can take this link and post it anywhere and ask people to continue subtitling but also make them better.
To honor the addition of google ads to OriginalTrilogy.com, here’s a thread to spread the Advertisement Extravaganza. The “This Thread Is Currently About…”
http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/This-Thread-Is-Currently-AboutZombies-PLEASE-READ-RULES-IN-OP-BEFORE-POSTING/post/452127/#TopicPost452127 suggestion by ImperialFighter struck a cord and I figure it might be a phun process to take every shot of the movie and superimpose a real product image/advertisement/video onto it. If anyone decides to play along, please try to go in film order, to help you out provided are two links to help us keep track of where we are in the film:
Script : http://starwarz.com/starkiller/2010/03/star-wars-public-version-of-fourth-draft/
(anyone know of an online shooting script version?, would be nice to have the shot numbers)
Movie Screen Caps : (Site requests that you not link to their images, so link to the page) : http://disparue.org/gallery/5/movies/sw/4/index.php?page=1
Bonus internetz cred. for obscure and ludicrous items. Multiple items for a scene will mean the popup adverts will obscure the movie, so please suggest ones for a scene already discussed, the more the merrier.
I’ll start, we’ll come back to the opening crawl and logos and start with the actual film:
Script Quote:
The awesome yellow planet of Tatooine emerges from a total eclipse, her two moons glowing against the darkness. A tiny silver spacecraft, a Rebel Blockade Runner firing lasers from the back of the ship, races through space. It is pursed by a giant Imperial Star Destroyer. Hundreds of deadly laserbolts streak from the Imperial Star Destroyer, causing the main solar fin of the Rebel craft to disintegrate.

Here's the original thread on this RotJ cut scene:

the restoration you linked too is nice to be aware of.
but to keep my theory going:
and to nitpick, there's only been 5 Star Wars celebrations (over 10 years), so calling it 'a star wars convention' seems a little understated. and the cracking down thing is no longer happening, as you can tell from the link you posted which is over a month old.
