EDIT: By "he," I

mean skyjedi2005,

not George Lucas

himself. Obviously.

i think we need to make a

rule, that you can only post

in this shortened column

format, or else you will

be punished!  ha ha!

(frinks tv, i'll let you start

that thread, unless you

already have - something

like 'a tribute to -1 posts!'

ha ha..

ok, i'll take your advice.

(but how do i know that

i won't get generalfrievous'ed!)

hey i think george

is great!

What's with constantly spamming in consecutive posts about a blog that's not even a part of this forum? Why not just stick to sending PMs to people that you think might be interested and leave it at that?

how exactly are you supposed to let people know, and

find out if they are interested or not? chicken-egg problem.

pm'ing them is much worse when you don't know if they

care or not. (to me that's spam).

Having my own SW project that I'm working on here, I can sympathise and understand perfectly you wanting more feedback from people, I certainly like hearing back from people, it helps keep me motivated, but forcing the issue doesn't help anyone and just breeds resentment IMO.

i'm still waiting for you to finish your project

so i can see how its coming along..

boxofficemojo is saying 7.8 million for weekend estimates.  $3.5 million for saturday estimates.  looks like the friday -> saturday numbers are up across all films (poor ghost rider still got beat by Vow and safe house), but I am a little surprised by this and skeptical.  I was thinking 7.8 million for weekend and presidents day total.

they also say this, which i find very interesting:

-----

Still, by Sunday The Phantom Menace's total gross will exceed the original Star Wars ($461 million), which will make it the highest-grossing entry in the series and fourth highest-grossing movie ever.

Where the problem lies it does not seem to come off this way with you, you keep saying make comments in this thread over and over and over, it almost seems like you are addicted to having comments, whether that be because you like reading, or because you just need all this attention, well WE here do not do our projects for all this "attention" Harmy has already stated several times that his project is for him, and our project(You_Too and I) are mainly for us, we are going to do it the way we want it, and then when finished, we share with everyone.

well you guys know what you are doing, so you don't need

comments. we are just starting out, and don't know if anyone

even cares, or is checking it out? i started out doing this for

myself too, but obviously other people are interested. I DON'T

NEED ATTENTION (ha ha). but the project does.

lol if you and I were just sitting around the table chatting face to face I would tell you to just chill out, let things flow on their own, relax a bit, now lets play some video games! don't be so obsessive with the comments, when you show samples of something very worthwhile believe me they will come, you will get plenty, but some advice, stop with the damn "tinys" and you know what this means lol, you read our posts on your blog.

Oh and 1 more thing, if you really want that kind of traffic then you should have just left your project here and not left in the first place, I mean it is not like GL can't find your blog lol.

yeah, it would be cool to hang out with you. or with other

star wars fans. i don't know too many.

anyways, if you re-read this thread, we were told it

would be better to go private. and by the way,

you'll be getting something bigger than the tinys.

can't wait to see what you guys do with it!

funny, if you don't post anything, people

whine/gripe/complain about updates,

and if anything is happening. finally,

years later, you post that something

is happening, and people think you

are spamming! ha ha - i love it!

thanks for the thoughts and comments,

and see you there.

I have to agree with others. I'm not that good at any technical stuff so I can't comment on those. Also the project has still a long way to become finished, so if you want that people come there to say "looks cool" about the clips and pics then I'll do that. Now, when the project is closer to being finished and after it's finished, I'll definately will comment and share my thoughts. I appreciate and support the project but not liking the forcing part. I also had made comments before, and still I was disabled from there.

And I don't like blog stuff at all, I'd be more like home if it was in a forum or here or something, but that's my problem.

the majority of the posts/comments ARE NOT TECHNICAL.

no one's forcing anything. if 1 or 2 comments is too much.

i can't help that. if you read this entire thread, we've been

been told to host it privately for basic security reasons.

sorry guys, for the quick and dirty retouch...

we'll have a lot better quality soon. i just wanted

the fourth frame might have an error mark

maybe i can try to post a picture of the whole

no one is being forced to join.

you can say whatever you feel like.

i don't censor anything. you know that.

no one should be scared of anything from me,

we're all in this together. i've seen

you and harmy shoot down people

pretty badly when they ask you for

stuff. in fact, i'm scared of both of

you guys a lot more! which is why

i never comment in your threads! (ha ha)!

if you don't want to comment,

that's up to you. also, i wish

people would put me on 'ignore',

and then you won't have to see

these! if you really don't care,

DON'T READ IT!

=========================================

you guys that work on your own projects

have done enough, and are permanent members.

will never have to worry, even if you never say

another word, you've inspired and shared enough

stuff with me to earn that respect..

people that ask to join, and 5 months later

never say anything, why do they even bother?

if you leave 1 or 2 comments a month,

thats good enough for me.

harmy/dark jedi check out the

post counts for anybody here.

they are in the hundreds, and even the

thousands. and you're telling me they

can't take a few seconds to say anything?

why are they even here then?

Man, that makes no sense whatsoever. If they don't see anything, how can they leave comments?

oops. what i meant was that,

if they didn't comment in the past,

their account was terminated.

they can still get onto the blog,

but they can't access the posts.

thanks harmy, i should have clarified that.

to reiterate : if you had an account before

and it's not working now, pm me. if you

never had one before, i'll set one up for

you, and you should be fine, but to keep

your account in good standing, you need

to participate.

ok look,

i'll just end all speculation here.

if you want to see what is going

on, just pm me and i'll set you up.

that should take care of this.

the reason i'm posting here, is because

there are a lot of new members that

only check here, and not on the blog.

if you can't see anything, it might be

because you didn't leave any comments before

and your account was disabled.

in the future, please participate and everything will fine.

thanks again everyone for joining us

in this historic event.
