It looks very nice....can't wait to hear it with the proper audio. The mouth movements seem a little off, timing wise.....is it timed to the audio you plan on putting in?

Ok, had my Star Wars Revisited evening tonight, and I'm happy to say that my guests were very generous and with my adding to their already impressive total we were able to make a very nice donation towards the cause. The evening was a rousing success....everyone loved the film.....some discussion on the differences between Revisited and Purist were had......and shown (since I now have both versions), and everyone (regardless of wether or not they made a donation) went home with a copy of the DVD. So anyone looking to help out Ady can use this as a way to raise some much needed funds to get this project completed. I put the challenge out there for someone to beat what I've raised tonight with their own Revisited fundraiser evening......
yeah, had thought of that.....but the bigger problem is the disc folder itself......I can't find anyone who can print in high enough quality on thick enough cardboard thats big enough to fold into the folder that has the plastic tray glued to it........
I'm looking to make a cardboard digipak boxed set for my eventual Revisited trilogy....and I've started work on ANH but have run into a wall when it comes to printing. I can't find a place that will print on anything over 100lbs stock......not even the ones that have flat print printers. Anybody out there have ideas?
This entire debate puzzles me......it seems like the word "fiction" from "science fiction" no longer means anything. Who cares what it is.....its aesthetically pleasing and does not hinder or further the story in any way. I don't see why it needs to be labeled, or visually altered to make it easier to label

Bought a plasma fire saber kit about 10 years ago. Started working on it but never really got into it. Now looking to sell the kit. The only thing missing from this kit is the ugly (and HUGE) black plastic handle that came with it. (any true lightsaber fan would want to build their own handle anyways…which was what I was gonna do)
Kit includes:
1 36" neon blade of forgotten color…(probably blue)…with plastic shroud (removeable if needed)
1 circuit board (the switch has been unsoldered in the hopes of putting on a smaller one that I could place where-ever I liked on my eventual handle…but it IS included if anyone wants to solder it back on) (one of the battery leads has come apart and simple needs to be soldered back together)
2 thumb contacts to simulate the gradual upwards effect of an igniting lightsaber (the wbsite now has an optional additional kit that you can include that will make the saber ignite just like they do on film, with just the touch of a button)
FULL instructions and schematics that were included when I bought the saber from the website.

I personally have no problem with the torture droids needle. Many people keep calling it a mini lightsaber, but if you look closely its actually arcing electricity....it looks nothing like a lightsaber.
Obiwan igniting first wasn't my fav thing about revisited either.....I always liked Vader standing there waiting for him with his already ignited, but I'm not sure how easy or difficult that would be to change
I want to remove all music thats been added to the film.....and restore what was originally there, be it either original music, or silence. Which does mean shortening some of the new stuff that was added....for example...the intro of the TIE fighters in the death star battle.....Revisited's version of that shot is probably about double the length because the imperial march has been added....where as the Purist version uses the original music cues and has to stick to pre-existing time constraints.
The Ben/Vader duel is a different length as well, as Ben's death has been slowed down, which I really didn't care for.......so essentially if we wanna keep the higher quality, we'd have to trim back those scenes to what they are in the Purist, and add the Purist soundtrack to the footage
hmmm....quite different then..........so how about it Jaitea? Wanna do it from Revisited instead? Might turn out to be even easier at that point to keep all the menus and extras if we work from the material they were originally on to begin with
how great is the difference in quality?
