OUT confirmed for 2016
OUT confirmed for 2016
Sick to death of Super Hero movies.
Good to hear I am not the only one!
We’ve had stranger people in the past ten years, believe me. 😉
Like coltonlolz?
I have been stuck in standstill traffic for several hours now. This never happens. Worst traffic jam I’ve ever been in.
This sucks.
Wow, that sounds like a terrible, terrible experience. I get so frustrated with traffic!
I have not been around for too long, but every now and then a total weirdo will show up briefly and either disappear or get banned.
O rly.

No, I just typed that post backwards by mistake.
And some people wonder why there are no women on the internet…
Apparently there are at least the ones who bashed Daisy Ridley.
I need to see Spectre again. I have forgotten a lot about it since I saw it in theatres.

The Rebellion was just a rebellion, not even remotely affiliated with any government, which was clearly established. In TFA, they mention that there is a relationship between the Republic and the Resistance, but don’t establish what that relationship is.
Was it really though? It appeared to be a confederation of planets at least, especially since Alderaan’s senators (and royalty) were involved in the leadership.
How is it possible no one mentioned Nancy Davis Reagan?
I was wondering that too just now. I don’t really follow this thread too much cuz it’s depressing, but I was going to post it but thought “nah, there’s no way someone hasn’t already posted about it.”
That is probably what everyone was thinking
I find it funny that people are defending this Ghostbusters remake as an “empowering” piece of media. They are the most stereotypical annoying, fake-tough woman characters I have ever seen. At least they are in the trailer, maybe the final product will be different but I doubt it.

It’d just end up being a second set of prequels I’d end up ignoring.
What if they were really good?
As a big fan of both the Beatles and James Bond this has been a rough week. Both George Martin and Ken Adam were integral to the success of their respective projects. The James Bond films he designed had an incredible look to them, with amazing sets.
They both lived long, healthy lives though so good for them.
TPM had a video game? The only one I remember was the podracing one for the 64.
Stuff like that makes me so angry! No one was complaining about her appearance, just a few losers on the internet. This is just pathetic people attacking her because they are jealous of her good looks. Ironically they are all incredibly sexist for saying she is not a real woman because of her looks.
That dialogue reading makes Hayden look pretty good in the movie
My favorite line of dialogue from Mace is a toss up between “You ready for this boy?” and “C’mon, fight me!” HA!
I think all of the actresses are funny, the script just sounds awful though. There was not a single funny joke in the trailer. I think something that is bothering people is that it almost seemed like the only reason they made the movie was to have a female version of Ghostbusters. I thought it was a good idea to have the women so that it would not be a recasting of the original characters. I was extremely disappointed that the characters came across as stereotyped “action-hero” women. Not to mention that Leslie Jones’ character is just a total stereotype of the sassy New York City black woman. It looks like it is going to be a total waste of talent. Who knows though, they may have just released some poor trailers and it will turn out better, but this is a bad first impression.
As for it being a sequel, I consider it a sequel in the same way that the Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland is a sequel to the original. It has some loose ties to it, but for all intents and purposes it is a remake. Especially since it has the same title as the original, with no subtitle of any kind.
The international trailer was a little better. It just does not look funny at all. Ghostbusters is just another example of the endless stream of remakes that never should have been made. You just cannot beat the original.
I think there will be a lot of discussing how much better TFA was than the prequels since in the trailer it mocks the millennial hipsters who are now claiming the prequels were secretly genius.
I just saw the new Ghostbusters trailer… Yikes
Sad news, he was a genius.
Seriously, what films do you give A+ to?
He gave an A+ to Mr. Nanny a while ago. Other than that I am not aware of any other A+ reviews.
^Same here! Though I’ve made it to sixteen and five months. 😃
At about 16 and a half I had a massive head injury that was never treated. I always wondered if I had permanent effects from that. I have done well enough though so I will assume not.
