Firstly, it’s cheesy and I can’t take it seriously at all (much like the whole film), and also, it’s not like James Bond is a celebrity, and M16 is an undercover organisation. It would only humiliate Bond to the M16, and they know how many women he beds anyway. It would make practically no difference to Bond or M16.

It actually would in the early 1960s. If an agent were caught on film with a Russian woman and then committed suicide after murdering her MI6 would’ve been embarrassed globally.

Ah okay then, thanks for clarifying. No I’m not being sarcastic.

Sure, not to mention, in 1963 his career could’ve been over just for having relations with a Russian clerk, even without the sex film scandal.

By the way, how are the villains in From Russia With Love uninteresting? You have a lesbian woman and an ex-Spetznaz agent using Bond as a pawn to play the British, Soviet, and Turkish governments off of each other at the height of the Cold War. The plot to release a sex tape of Bond to the public was particularly interesting and revealed the lengths to which SPECTRE would go to in order to destroy those who wronged them. Between the lesbian villainess, the gypsy woman fight, and the sex tape blackmail conspiracy, FRWL has the most perverse situations in the entire series.

Dr No (1962)

From Russia with Love (1963)

In both films Bond is completely one dimensional and boring, the love interests are horrendous, especially Tatiana Romanova, the villains in both are flat and not at all fun to watch, particularly Red Grant, and the pacing for both is practically non-existent. I just don’t get the love!

I’m glad you’re here to tell us these things. I didn’t realize that the 50 years of positive reception were so misguided and wrong.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010) - 4/10

It really doesn’t hold up as well as it did when I was nine. The main character is an unlikable prick and it looks like a made-for-TV production.

The thought of someone being nine years old in 2010 reminds me of how I’m elderly person.

Ugh tell me about it. I was pretty sure people stopped being born around 1992.

Some may have been born in 1993 but definitely not after Dazed and Confused came out.
