Hmm. I’ve never seen the movies or any samurai movies, really. Sounds cool!

A Charlie Brown Celebration
It’s an Adventure, Charlie Brown
and
Snoopy: The Musical
are available on DVD, only in Australia, as bonus features on the Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show collection.
No. It’s an actual cartoon. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Charlie_Brown_Celebration
And dvd-kev, sounds great! We have pretty similar ideas!
I’m excited to see how you tackle Han & Luke kissing and the replacing of Ewoks for Wookies.
you meen he is a … ?
you meen they’re a…?
Sounds like something for The Ridiculous (Gay?) Awaken(s)(ing)…
I, for one, am looking forward to this. And it has only about 10% factored into it, that I love boobs.
As I’m catching up on Heroes Reborn, I’m reading about the webisodes from the original series. It seems not all of the webisodes have made it to DVD or Blu Ray. Why not? It seems that only Season 3 contains webisodes, the series “Going Postal”, “Hard Knox” and “Nowhere Man”. The other three webisode series, “Destiny”, “The Recruit” and “Slow Burn” have not been released, it seems.
Has anyone done a preservation of these, as well as the Target and other store exclusives?
It would be interesting if there was one scene with alien subtitles. I think Empire is the only SW without them.
Sweet. That can be used to create the perfect version(s).
Can someone make a DVD or BD of just the digital only extras from nust the Target TFA and all 7 Disney Movie Anywheres? That’s all I’m interested in. SD/HD doesn’t matter to me.
I already did that. The problem is where to host it.
Ah OK. I thought you were still gathering material for your 10 disc extras mega-set, or whatever. That’s just way too many discs for me. All of this would fit on one disc, correct?
The theatrical cut of The Podrace scene, 12 minutes
Conversations and Discoveries from the Inside, 27 minutes, prequel trilogy
Conversations and Discoveries from the Inside, 39 minutes, original trilogy
Over 20 minutes of TFA Target-exclusive bonus content
That’s all. Are there any itunes/ Google/ whatever non-Target TFA exclusives?

I want a DVD cover that matches up to the old DVDs. I like to take the DVD out of the BD case and put it in its own DVD case. Anyway, I’d like a TFA cover that mmatchs the 1-6 DVDs with a large “VII” behind “Star Wars” and small print “The Force Awakens” underneath. You know, like this:

How the hell do you post images here now?
I didn’t realize it when I started this thread, but someone already started a (much more detailed) thread on the very same topic:

Awesome! Thanks!
The Target Blu Ray edition of Episode 7 comes with exclusive digital only content. Anyone know if it can be downloaded and burnt to a disc, or is it streaming only? I got my BD from Walmart, so I know nothing of the Target release.
I’ve never heard anyone in the US say arse, ever. I kicked Fred in the ass for being an ass while riding his (jack)ass while watching Jackass. Arse sounds dumb. Do you pronounce the “r”?
From wikipedia:
Arse
Arse or ARSE may refer to:
Arse, British English for the buttocks (“ass” in US English)
Arse (district), a district in the South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra province, Sumatra, Indonesia
Arylsulfatase E, an arylsulfatase gene
Animal Research – Scientific and Experimental, a fictional animal research centre in the book The Plague Dogs
Silly English. That word has no meaning in the US, I don’t think. Do you guys spell it that way when it means donkey, buttox or calling someone a name? Here, all 3 are ass.
Nice! I haven’t gotten a new Netflix account to check, but I’d assume the US version is the same.
Well that’s pretty awesome (but not about the credits), don’t think a lot of us USA folk knew that. I will have to check the Netflix version. Been meaning to get a new Netflix account anyway. If everthing is good, someone can capture the ending off of Netflix and upscale it to match your recording. Are there any commercials or other edits you know of on this TV version?
The 80s UK home video release is the same as the theatrical cut, with the scene of Wolfgang and Ben towards the beginning. I recorded this version in HD (1080) from Channel 4 during Xmas 2015. The closing credits featuring Robert Picado’s stand up routine have been time-compressed and cut down.
So it would appear that the version you recorded is 99% the US theatrical cut (minus the credits). I guess this version is also on Netflix. Hopefully the Netflix version has the correct credits, and this scene (taken from Wikipedia):
Originally before the end credits, in the theatrical cut, the alien Wak “broke the fourth wall” and remarked on people who were still in the theater from the smell of popcorn. In the re-edited home video version, he just tells another joke before it cuts to the closing credits.
So it seems no directors cut is possible, but, in theory, a seamless-branching Blu Ray can be created (if the correct credits/ talk to audience scene(s) are found/ upscaled, with four cuts of the film:
US theatrical cut (Two scenes not in previous US video releases: where Wolfgang has an encounter with Steve Jackson’s gang of bullies and a brief bit where the boys chase the Tilt-a-Whirl ride after they push it up a hill. Without the brief sequence at the end where Ben daydreams about the Thunder Road ship, and with the correct 4th wall/ credits scenes.)
US home video cut (opposite of the above)
UK cut (same as US theatrical, except 4th wall scene and credits, I think)
Extended cut (all of the scenes restored, probably even the 4th wall thing AND the replacement joke)
Does anyone remember the details listed in the censorship report link I posted? As far as how accurate it is to the US theatrical version?
And now you also know what Bingowings looks or sounds like.
Oh really? Which one was he? The interviewer? I thought it was an actual TV news interviewer.
I might actually have an HBO recording of this. I’ll have to double check.
What about this:

It compares the German VHS to the German DVD. Maybe we have to seek out a German VHS? I don’t remember if I saw it in theaters, I mostly remember it from HBO. Anyone have an HBO recording?
I just heard about the DVD having missing/ different scenes from the VHS and theatrical. Has anyone ever made a theatrical version using the deleted scenes on the DVD? This site REALLY needs a search function!
That’s awesome! His attention to detail is amazing! Plus I’ve never knew what Adywan looked or sounded like until now. Pretty cool stuff!
