ITS HAPPENED-- OOT AVAILABLE FROM LUCASFILM
Time
All they need to do is add isolated scores and make the crawl selectable for A New Hope. Personally I love the fact that they are making two disc sets with the 2004 versions. That's exactly what I did and even made covers for the discs like that. These sets will be pretty much exactly like mine. 2004 version: Disc 1, theatrical version(ISOMIX/ editdroid): Disc 2.

What about the bonus disc? They need to make a two disc set for that, disc two being whatever other bonus material isn't on DVD.

Yeah, I could have ocp, but there really isn't a way to do that without making a new menu for it. Hopefully I can get back what I lost already!

Playing the trivia takes you to the scene selction menu. While I was uploading the files, my hard drive crashed on me. I am posting thios with my sister's computer. Now the HDs (actually both of them from my computer) are detected as being there, but are not properly formatted, and don't show up in "My Computer". Is there any way to get my data back? I have so much information on there that would be almost impossible to get again!

I use EasyRecover professional 6. I had something silimer happen to me quite recently and this worked a charm. You won't get everything back but i got 150GB out of 250GB back after i reformatted the disk!!

I should probably buy a new hard drive to restore windows xp to first, correct?

Well, can you do me a favor and download what I posted and help me figure out how to make this change? Like I said, I can't start over because I don't have the files anymore. I could re-rip it, but it took way too long as is. I don't have the patience to start from scratch. It would invole a LOT of work. Just take a look at my menus please. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Besides.. I said all along (sort of) that the trivia questions would unlock the ending, and no one complained until now.

Trying to please everyone is hard...

23 seconds! Anyway, tell me how to change it without completly starting from scratch, and I'll do it. Honestly, how many times are you guys gonna watch the alternate ending anyway? I'm a sucker for happy endings and I actually like the the happy ending better.

What can I do with the trivia then if not have the ending there? How about the trivia unlocks the 1960 movie? Not sure how to do this yet..

So what about the Scooby Doo movie example I posted? You have to play a DVD game every time you want to see a clip of Pamela anderson. I think that's a somewhat cool idea.

I'm not gonna completly get rid of the Trivia questions. As soon as I found out DVD Lab Pro had that option, I was in heaven. This is the first time I have attempted this.

How about you guys check out the trivia before you cry about it. Once you know the answers it takes a max of 23 seconds to get to the ending. Besides, I don't have the source files anymore to re-do the disc. I have very limited HD space, so whenever I finish a project and burn it, everything gets deleted. It would be really easy to change the version of the movie on it now, but not so easy to totally change the menu structure. Look, THEY don't want the ending to be seen. It was on the shelves ONE day before being pulled. It's a comedy movie, I think it's funny to have it this way. It kinda like, what ending? There's no alternate ending on here, ha ha! Besides I LOVE trivia and think you should be rewarded for answering correctly. I was inspired by the 5 trivia questions on the Madacy LSoH 1960 movie. It kinda sucked that it went back to the menu after finishing, no reward, nothing. It had some stupid stock footage of atom bombs or people cheering, depending on your answer. Mine has 10 questions (5 created by me), about both versions of the movie. If wrong, you see a clip of Audrey II laughing and it goes back to the question. If you get it right, it goes to the next question.

My version is better than the recalled disc in my opinion, only if you already own the movie, without the ending. Here's why:

1. (This is probably more important to me than it is to most) NO duplicated features. I personally HATE having DVDs with the same features as another disc. (which is why I re-do some SW discs. I only need ONE showing of the Muppet Show, thank you.) ALL of the features other than the ending are duplicated if you own the re-release and original

2. 1960 movie: probably gonna be the color version w. commentary now. If you wanna see it in B&W, turn off the color on your TV.

3. Poster/ Photo gallery: all of the LSoH pics i could find. Posters, covers, lost scenes all set to a song from the soundtrack not in the actual movie.

4. dvd-rom soundtrack

Also, the only reason the ending torrent was posted was because I requested it to use for my project, and this is MY thread. So there!

I only wish I could find stuff from the crappy cartoon to include.

Here is a four part RAR file totalling 107mb, with my LS disc, minus the ending footage and old movie. Basically just to check out my menus and trivia:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

Yet another Matrix edit: Matrix Rebooted (* unfinished project *)
Time

In keeping with the Matrix Re-SOMTHING titles. Unlike the other two edits I know of, mine will include all of the Enter the Matrix cut scenes, both CG and filmed, and only remove the boringness. I will keep Zion, just get rid of most of the talking/ explaining stuff. It will basically just be Matrix 2 and 3 as one movie, as others have done. I like most of the video game scenes better than most of the scenes in either movie. This won’t be done for a while, as I don’t own any Matrix movies yet. I sold them all to buy the Neo head box set. Even though I don’t like 2 and 3 that much, except for the kung fu scenes, I still have to have them. I am a completest. MUST. OWN. ALL. SEQUELS. OF. MOVIES. I. LIKE. THE. PART. ONE. OF. NO. MATTER. HOW. BAD. THEY. ARE. MUST. MUST. MUST. That being said, I love every second of the Star Wars prequels, and 2004 SE’s as most of you probably know.

One problem is, I have yet to actually BUY the mega box set, so I still own no Matrix movies at the moment. One day this will get done, however.

How come no one (I don’t think at least) has used the Enter the Matrix scenes in a fan edit? Aren’t they in the super de duper box set as extras? What about the game graphics scenes, notably the intro: “Why do you do that? What? Check your guns. Sometimes the bullets fall down. Sometimes the bullets fall UP. You never know” or something like that. Are those scenes in the box set, or only the FILMED scenes?

'Backstroke of the West' with retail DVD quality : FINISHED & RELEASED
Time
No problem. I'm just amazed that I did something that so many people are proud of, and were able to follow my directions. I barely know what I'm doing myself. This all came about because I added subtitles to the editdroid A New Hope. I searched videohelp.com for tutorials on how to add subtitles and keep the menu. This is where I discovered programs such as muxman and vobblanker.

If you wait until around May 1st, my disc will be distributed somehow. Is it really that bad to have to answer 10 easy trivia questions to get access to the ending? Scooby Doo has something like that where if you win this DVD game, you can watch a clip with I think Pamela Anderson. On some DVD's you have to enter a code to watch certain things. Is what I have done really any different?

It's been so long since I messed with smartrippers settings, I forgot that I have mine set to fax file size 9999mb.

Yes the ifo's I provided are for 16x9. This can easily be changed with ifoedit.

jokabofe, really not sure. Try ripping again.

If anyone still needs any of the files, I can try to email them.

I'm glad everyone likes what I have done.

Help Wanted: Newsgroup Users... Please Help Me
Time
Can someone get this Street Fighter II anime Fansub for me? I got it from nzb files at usenetspider or something but I couldn't get the second and last vob files to work. I hate, hate, hate newsgroups! So complicated! This is the first and only time I think I will ever attempt to use them. How many tries does it take to get stuff to work? And then you have to actually pay to subscribe to get some stuff. What crap! Why not use bitttorrent instead? It never gave me a corrupt file!

Right now it's the Hollywood Classics Madacy version. After May 1st (when the Legend Films version is supposed to be released), it will be one or both of the versions on the new disc. I can't wait until this comes out so I can see how big of a disc it is and everything. I don't know how to colorize things myself, but if I did, I'd attempt to do so to the original ending. If I can only fit one version of the 60 movie on this, what do you guys think it should be? I mean if I use only the color version, people can simply turn the color off on their TV and bam, black and white. Or should I just forget about the color version all together? I do want the Mike Nelson (MST3K) commentary on this though.

Street Fighter II - The Animated Movie Super Special Champion Edition Turbo (Released)

Manga has released an uncut DVD in July, however it is two sided and won't have the Japanese video synced with the English audio like mine does. They said it would be too difficult to do. I think I have proved them wrong. You guys be the judge. Their version has two separate video sources, one in English the other in Japanese. Mine allows you to select English or Japanese audio over the SAME video. So if you choose to watch the FULL, UNCUT video in English audio, you can do so, something that won't be possible on the official release.
