T-HOPE ULTIMATE TERMINATOR PROJECT (Mainly Released)
Time
Have you tried Magic SWF 2 AVI converter? I used it a while back in an attempt to convert some Star Wars fan films to avi, which I was then going to convert to DVD. Never got it finished though. I can't remember exactly, but I think in some cases I could only convert the video with that. I then had to use an audio recorder to capture the audio and resync everything later. It actually wasn't that hard, just a little annoying.

Classic Edition: The Empire Strikes Back by Ocpmovie (Released)

I'll more than likely put up ROTJ next week to complete the set. However, it'll probably be the last torrent I put up. ESB has been completed 7 times and as of this evening, only had 1 additional seed. Right now, I'm the only one seeding, but that's probably due to people shutting down their computers at night. Hopefully the situation will improve tomorrow, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

If I sounded sarcastic that was not my intention. I was simply asking for a favor, if anyone had any time. Bandwidth? I have never hd a problem uploading as a favor to anyone, so I don't know where that comment came from. But anyway's, Not a big deal, all you had to say was go **** yourself!! or something of that matter.

Wasn't sure if it was sarcasm or not. Since it apparently wasn't, I apologize for my previous post.

It was part of the usenet post. It looks like it's from when they had a Star Wars themed episode.

Judging from the fact that they're not in the VIDEO_TS folder, I'm assuming they're not necessary to the functionality of the disc proper. I appreciate the thought on the part of whoever included them, but if I can't watch them from the DVD menu I believe I'll save myself some download time and skip those.

Not only that, but it doesn't look like they're ready for viewing yet either. The files (m2v and ac3) need to be muxed in order to get the audio. Unless I'm doing something wrong (that is a possibility). VLC played the m2v file, but there's no audio. Maybe another media player can play them both without needing to mux them.

Isn't there a 3 gig daily limit even on the premium accounts? You can download unlimited files at the same time, but I think they limit you to 3 gig per day total. Maybe you've gone way over and now you need to wait several days for the counter to reset. I know that happened to me one time with a GigaNews trial (1 gig limit that I went over by a couple of gigs before their system stopped me).

You do know that unless you're on DSL, your super-fast broadband connection is staggeringly slow for uploads, right? It may not be as bad as a 56k modem, but it's not as lightening quick as the download speeds are either.

Aside from that, good luck with this.

For anyone else that might be wondering, the funky extension on the directory that's created by the torrent is normal. I couldn't get Windows to let me rename it before creating the torrent, so it went up as is.

How should it be renamed, or opened?

It doesn't need to be. The VIDEO_TS folder just needs to be at the root of the DVD when you go to burn. VIDEO_TS, AUDIO_TS, and all the other folders get burned to the root. Everything above that is just how it's structured on my hard drive, so that's how the torrent got created. So when you burn, the structure should look like this:

AUDIO_TS
JACKET_P
VIDEO_TS
ZZMOREEXTRAS

For those of you that use imgtool and imgburn, you only need to include the above folders when you create the iso. Otherwise, it won't play in your standalone.

It's amazing how many thoughful people there are, I just can't say enough!

Thanks for all you help! And thanks for the support with my Highlander II project, so many people actually caring.

Thanks again

Again thanks for trying! To bad someone can't take the time to seed that torrent. But you know, thats the way the cookie crumbles....

bring back OCPMOVIE

Yeah, because we have nothing better to do than seed ancient torrents. Chill out man. Maybe somebody will seed it when they're not actively seeding something else. Or did hard drive space and bandwidth suddenly become infinite and free overnight?

I agree and not just for the reasons you stated. The file sent to me by kaine has not only the Star Wars CE covers, but every other cover for ESB and ROTJ. Personally, since it's all available on the site kaine posted on page 4, I see no reason to include them all in the torrent. If someone wants a few of the other covers, or even all of them, there's really nothing stopping them from getting them. In fact, I'd wager that getting them from ocpmovie's site is faster than getting them in a torrent.

With that said, I'm trying to get this uploaded to Demonoid right now. I'm getting the "Maintenance" page, so it might be a little while before the torrent gets uploaded.

The program I used to convert some videos for work is called SUPER. It's available at http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html. I have no idea if it's a good encoder or not. I only use it because I work for a small company and it's free. We can't really afford to buy expensive tools like Adobe Premiere that we're really only going to use for video conversions. Anyway, that program will convert most anything to any format.

Give it a shot and let us know how it goes.
