I have dug out my old DVRs that I recorded off UK Gold ditectly onto my Hard Drive Recorder then I placed them on my Pc to edit out the breaks then back onto DVR, I played Cup O Joes this morning image wise as good as DVD and thankfully I think 90% of them dont have logo’s a rarity for the channel at the time, dont know which part of the episode to check for music replacement?
I thought I had more but afraid all I have is

I you want to point in the direction of which part of any of these episodes to check for cuts or music replacements I will.

Knight rider is currently on forces Tv on Sky in the Uk same for street hawk, Spike is also showing the A Team, The A Team blu rays are also cut syndicated versions unless you get the repress reissue but still music replacement going to check my UK Gold versions tomorrow

I checked my planner as I recorded the episodes CH5 aired in the UK over the last few weeks of season 1, afraid to say apart from been in HD they were cut, not only replacement music but also scenes cut out either for time or violence and the pilot film chopped in half and wrong fake opening titles tacked on them inserting the actor who played face in the pilot into the normal season opening titles.

I have selected episodes recorded onto DVD from airing recorded off UK Gold in the UK from several years ago, I may have to check them and the episodes I recorded.

Hopefully Ive uploaded this to everyones favourite organ if I’ve done it correctly, my first re edit in a couple of years hopefully worth a download

I have redone the TV series Smith starring Ray Liotta into a 2.5hrTV mini series in 2 parts this is an upgrage of aversion I did a few years back with better software and a bit more experience.

I cut all the fluff out and made the edit to the Art Heist and the Bullion job the flow is just on those jobs every thing else is gone so plays like a mini series with a beginning and an end unlike the TV show.

Also added in some stronger language from other ray liotta movies and a complete opening and closing credit sequence.

Added a fewclips on YouTube if allowed.

What they did to Hunter during the first and second season were unforgiveable, it was like Miami Vice without the music, just killed the show on DVD.

It was so bad I purchased a german VHS tape of the 2 parter the snow queen not that I understand badly dubbed german but all the music is original as show on tv so you get McCall singing and all the other original songs intact, I tried my poor attempts at editing to the dvd version but the time difference from tape to DVD to redub it just wouldn't work.

The only original episodes I Own in good quality with original music are the Shooter Episode and Wanted Dead or Alive that I taped and converted to DVD some time ago.

I also have some rather poorer quality episodes on tape I traded around 5 years ago of selected episodes from the 1st and second season but the picture quality is not great.

Would love for some fan edits of this show.

Glad to hear the project isn't dead after all your hard work that went into the pre release, seems to good of an idea to drop, yes there are lots of fan edits of part 1 and 2 but noting of one independant film in respect of both parts.

And your newly filmed sections were a wonder and slotted in greatly to give a great intro to superman returns, hope you get the time to put the gloss on a near completed project.

Hi lorang, I've been too busy to do much work on this, unfortunately.  But that's because business is up, which is good.  It definitely feels like the economy is getting better.  Hopefully this will somehow mean I can spend time on this in the near future.  I'm still passionate about it.  And I plan to show some stuff off by the end of the month.  :) Thanks!

Hi Taolar hows things coming along with this its been 2 months since any word! Really looking forward to your finished product as I believe it will be the definitive Supes Fan Edit that will be out there. 

What about the news reel footage in the Abyss extended cut were those aliens are showing the cruelty of human kind via old news reel footage, plus its in 2.35 widescreen it also has snippets of nukes which could give a message out like the explosion at the begining of the movie, nukes = death.

Hi Taolar how are things coming with the project since the initial pre release 4 months ago, have you managed to resolve any of the niggles you were going to work on, I was so blown away by the pre release would love to know what you've tickered with or changed on the way to your final cut???

I know this is a silly question and you can not give direct links but does any one know how I can get a copy of STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED by ADYWAN I have checked torrents but they are long out dated with no seeds, have been looking at the visual comparisons and think its amazing can any one help me obtain a copy of this fantastic looking release????

Thought I'd have a bit of fun and try and do a rough cut of this sequence and make it a little more tough, hopefully the changes are not to in your face.

I have added extra blast noises to the explosions with the rocket lauchers.

Added 2 blood sqibs to the two guards who Zod shoots.

Added a little rubble and fire when Non walks to the 2 soldiers.

Added extra fire when the rocket launcher hits the ceiling.

Trimed by a couple of frames the body guard being thrown through the wall, got rid of the bouncy wall.

Added a blood sqib to the guard on the floor that Ersa kicks in the face followed by a bone break, also trimmed his hiding on the floor by a few frames.

Added a more powerful wack by Ersa to the final guard.

Like mentioned its all pretty rough just to show that it can be a bit more violent and show the villans as bad ass villians.

I have just had the opportunity to watch Son of Jorel and for a pre release it scores very highly with what you have attempted to do with many high points and a couple of nags.

The overall edits with part one concerning Superman the Movie are mostly flawless, I was very impressed with the edits, I watched it with a friend who didn't notice any edits until nearly into the first half.

A few niggles with me are minor on this section but I'll list them for any creative review from Jo public.

1. After the credit sequence there is a fade to black and sound drop with Jorel approaching earth, this fade out didn't really suit with the sound drop a little jarring, possibly better with some form of a blend with the end of the fanfare Superman theme credit sequence then approaching earth.

2. The introduction of the Otis character is lacking the reason why the cops are following him. In the original it's in the hope he will lead them to Lex, with Otis not a major character the inclusion of this section may help.

3.The rearming of the missile by Miss Teshmacher, Otis and Lex, not sure on this one, nothing wrong with the scene as its needed, but I thought the fake car crash sequence may of suited it better excluding the comedic elements with Otis tho, whether that’s possible I don't know.

4.The sequence in Lex's underground lair when they are discussing the missile and detonator, obviously they are originally talking about 2 missiles but the voice editing on this section seemed a tad rough.

5.This one I hated in the Donner Cut, and is dependant on how you are watching it but the release of the 3 super villains (as Lex calls them) I hate the very bad blue screen work here as they are floating in space, the Lester footage is a lot better if its possible to add Zods FREE! Quote on the Lester footage it will look a lot better to me, sorry pet hate on Donners cut.

6. The unfinished FX shot of Perry White reading the news headlines, great to see what you are going to do here.

7. This one is my biggy Lex's trip to the Fortress of Solitude, there is no explanation that I could see of why Lex is heading to the North Pole and to find the Fortress or even how he knew it existed did puzzle me this one!

8.The villains arrival in the Hick Town, with Zod and Ursa looking at the arm wrestling then Bang one of the guys thrown through the wall of the bar, would work better with the inclusion of Ursa sitting down with the guy then we'll known Ursa throw him through the wall.

9. The sequence straight after the above with the guy pointing a Shotgun at them and Zod stating these humans are beginning to Bore me, was confused as to why you replaced the finger beam with a double eye beam, the single finger beam would be better as when it burns the guy its a single beam, Gotta say love the FX shot of the burn and scream, gives it a darker edge.

11. The sequence were Clark is begging for his powers back off his father is truly missing the Brando footage Clark just finding the green crystal leaves it unsure how he gets his power back. The Donner/Brando footage explains it way better.

12. Love your new ending, but the voice over in the Donner cameo explaining they have found Superman’s home needs a little bit more tweaking. 

These points are minor, in my opinion and with what Taolar has achieved is truly amazing and I do give him high praise indeed, the minor points aside there is way too many plus sides to list. So to any one wishing to experience a full Superman experience get Superman: Son of Jorel and fully support Taolar and hopefully a DVD completed version soon???

Oooohhh Yessss!!!!

Been a big supporter of this from the get go and tried to give Toalar an old deleted scene a while back, From some of the teasers Toalar has released in the past the FX shots were flawless, like wiping out an actor from the background of scenes to the normal naked eye you would never know.

Only wish I had to experience as Toalar most certainly has.

Waiting with baited breath....

It would be cool to have some more teasers of work completed just to keep us at bay!
