Except you’re totally missing the whole point of the scene of him dying/giving into the Force/whatever. If he pulled an Obi-Wan, I can almost guarantee you would be screeching autistically about how they ripped off ANH

I think it’s got its flaws, but in my completely subjective opinion, it was a great movie. Rey and Kylo: amazing. Luke as a coward and his character arch to becoming the hero and Force master again: great. The entire third act: pretty good. The lightspeed thing: really cool. The scene in Snoke’s room: perfect, a perfect scene.

Yeah the Canto Bight part was lame, Leia flying was gay, and the comedy too much occasionally, but if you really can’t look past that, you’re not looking at the movie as a whole, and how I see it, most likely finding another reason to complain about “Disney Wars”

I vaguely like the idea of R1 being Episode III, but I still think it works best as an anthology, given that all of the protagonists are new, unrelated to the plot before and after the movie, and die at the end

Holy shit, I know this could take along-ass time, but this is close to how I actually want the movie to be, plot-wise. I’m open to helping with anything that doesn’t involve CG (I can do editing, voice acting, etc.). Plus it looks promising. With the death of Shroud of the Sith, maybe this will actually follow through

I was thinking about the Special Edition changes, and I wondered if there ever was a fan edit series of the OT where the really stupid changes are switches for the say the Despecialized Editions, but kept most of the changes to the movies. Is there a series like this?

Also, I am aware of adywan’s Star Wars: Revisited series, but this includes original changes to the movies done by adywan himself.

I just remembered how actually amazing the tone poems were in the advertising for TPM, and if it would be possible to incorporate one or multiple into the movie (I was especially considering Darth Maul’s). I figured this would be a good topic to discuss on how or if one would go about doing this.

Came up with this idea in the middle of class today. From what I’ve seen, Rebels actually doesn’t look half bad, but from the viewpoint of a fan who doesn’t have the time to watch all of the episodes, the massive amount of content that a show entails is a lot. Similar to the Clone Wars movie series, could a series of Rebels movies be made? I don’t know how it would go, but my suggestion would be a movie for each season? Let me know what you guys think

(also, sorry if this idea has already been discussed)
