Anyone want to preserve The Compleat Al? (A Mockumentary about Weird Al) (Released)
Time
I remember that disc. I was trying to download that and Al-Music 6 (the 2-disc one) from Demonoid a long time ago when all the seeds died out. :/

I've had a look through my Weird Al Yankovic folders (WAY for short) and found I have the files below:

Straight Outta Lynwood Era (Was planning on putting together a disc called "Left Offa Lynwood"):
* 21 Weird Al Speech & Sound Ringtones (.rm format)
* White and Nerdy (1024x576 .avi - best quality version found so far)
* Trapped in the Drive-Thru (304x240 .wmv)
* Do I Creep You Out (.exe - Perhaps JibJab could supply a scalable flash?)
* Behind-the-scenes clip on making 'White and Nerdy' (Youtube .flv - 7m22s)
* HTML file of Rock & Roll Daily (Rolling Stones) interview with Al
* Al on Triple J radio station in Australia (20m53s - 96k mp3) (Nov 19 2006, 11 AM)
* 2006-09-20 - Bob Rivers (TR_5516).wma (8m41s)
* 5-27-03 - Mancow Interview on WKQX-FM.mp3 (8m03s)
* CD101 - weird_al.mp3 (64k 11m21s)
* The Rocking Comedy Show - Episode 17 - Special Weird Al Interview (Complete).mp3
* Bob & Tom Show: Live at the Laugh Hole (weird_al_yankovic_sm.mov - 1m18s)
* 2006-09-18 - Bob and tom.mp3 (29m18s - 32k)

AL-TV (Divx):
#5: 1988-04-20 - Even Worse (687 MB)
#7: 1996-05-23 - Off the Deep End (696 MB)
#9: 2003-06-17 - Poodle Hat (269 MB)
#10: 2006-12-15 - Straight Outta Lynwood (370 MB)

Bootleg/Unofficial Albums:
* Lestatkatt's Ultimate Collection of Rare Tracks (6/14/06)
* The Poodle Hat Heard Around the World [Live @ Pacific Amphitheatre, Costa Mesa, CA, USA (July 21, 2004)]

Other:
* 2003-07-09 - Weird Al Yankovic on The New Tom Green Show (.wmv 320x240)
* Extreme Makeover bit from the Al-TV #7 DVD (managed to snag that VOB at least)
* Uncle Muscles Hour Promo - Chop Suey.flv

Also, the two DVDs that I never managed to grab from Demonoid were; the above-mentioned one with 'Behind the Music' and 'Driven' and one that contained all these:
- There's No Going Home
- VH1 to 1
- The Tonight Show
- Attack Of the Show
- Ebay Live
- The Late Show

Finally, I have this snippet of text but never managed to capture the video it mentions. Don't know if it's still there, don't have time to check at the moment, though:
At Rehearsals.com, there's video clips of Taylor Hicks being interviewed and practicing songs. About 5 minutes 40 seconds in, he mentions Al's parody and slips in "Do I Creep You Out" during the titular lines.

Sorry for the lengthy reply

Help Wanted: Star Wars films with audio description. Can anyone help out??
Time
Haven't heard from you in a while and this is good news!

You know I'm after those tracks and coincidentally I just bought the PAL GOUT (yeah, I know it's crappy but it was super cheap). If there isn't a skilled individual interested in taking on the job I could try my hand at synching them to the movies. Are Episodes 4-6; the OT, 1997 SE or DVD versions of the films?

In any case, even if someone does want to try synching them I'd appreciate any Megaupload/Rapidshare/YSI/etc links you could provide for just the audio. I'm glad you've finally got copies of the audio at least.

'So Fine' - Preservation Project (Released)
Time
Doctor M,

I live in Australia too. I'd be willing to pay the cost of blank media/printed covers for say 3 copies. I'd keep one for myself and mail the other two off to any other Aussie OT members that are interested. What do you think? It's just at this point messing around with torrents is too much hassle to be worth it (specially with the crappy net speeds here in Australia).

//Star Wars Begins\\: HD Version Now on Vimeo

Jambe,

I know you are busy revising "Building Empire" and "Returning to Jedi" for that film festival. However, I just wanted to let you know something. The "Star Wars Vault" package that is being released on October 30th is in-stock here in Australia at the bookstore where my girlfriend works. That is the item talked about here, posted about on SW.com here and listed on Amazon, here.

She's talking about getting it for me for Christmas... I'm trying to talk her into buying it now. In any case, it sounds like it'll be useful for your project.

The "EditDroid" Trilogy DVD Info and Feedback Thread (Released)
Time
bkev:
My cover was a reconstruction attempt when the 'official' slim version (that's to say, Editdroid's own) wasn't available. MoveAlong posted them a while back. I've uploaded it again however in a zip file. You can download it at this YouSendIt link. It's a TIF file and you'll have to use an image program to JPG if need be.

2007 Star Wars DVD Collection Release
Time
Sorry this little rumor-type tidbit caused so much fuss guys. I know that EzyDVD is planning on selling the currently available DVD sets bundled together for $99 later this year. However, this was news from Fox about a new release. As long as the '16-disc' bit is accurate then it will have to be different to the current and previous sets. In any case, EzyDVD appears to have uploaded some of the titles also shown at the conference along with their tentative artwork:

* Die Hard 4-Film/8-Disc Collection
* Ultimate Marvel 7-Film Collection
* Rocky Ultimate 6-Film/8-Disc Collection
* James Bond 21-Film/42-Disc Collection (Guess we are getting a new 2-disc edition of Casino Royale and that poker pack)

The above were all shown at the conference. They are all from Fox and they are all scheduled for November 21st. Perhaps the Star Wars set would be coming out in November also?
