The Thief and the Cobbler: Recobbled Director's Cut (Released)
Time
I've read about this film in other posts/threads on here and I'm interested. Being that the film was never seen as intended, as you say, it is great to see it being preserved. Having heard only a little on the film, I still find myself wanting to see it. I'm glad that you are undertaking such a project. The mountains of praise for the Star Wars: Classic Edition series is proof that you are capable of doing a worthy restoration. I say that the praise is proof because I'm one of the fools who hasn't secured copies of any of the Classic Edition DVDs yet. Anyway, enough ranting from me.

Look forward to seeing this project progress.

Klokwerk's CBB DVD Covers Thread (3 Covers + Disc Art Available)

Thanks for checking anyway Rikter. I've scoured the net/torrents too to no avail. It looks like the newsgroups and possibly IRC are the last hope for them. I don't have access to the newsgroups so I hope somebody who does stumbles in here and offers to request these fonts in alt.binaries.fonts - otherwise I won't be able to get them.

Klokwerk's CBB DVD Covers Thread (3 Covers + Disc Art Available)

Everyone:
I don't suppose anybody would have the font: Opti Binder Style Bold? Perhaps, somebody with newsgroups access can pop into alt.binaries.fonts and request it? I would really like to have this to finish off the front of one of my upcoming CBB covers. PRETTY please?

Also, check my next post for another font I'm in search of.

boon23:
Could you please reply here with the number of chapter stops for each CBB edit?

Klokwerk's CBB DVD Covers Thread (3 Covers + Disc Art Available)

Wanted to post to let everyone know I will still be doing these covers, just haven't had the time lately.

I have been busy with family stuff and holidays and all that. In fact, I am still doing all that. So, there has been little work done on the covers. That's not to say I won't finish them, because I will. However, some of Rikter's wonderful new covers for the CBB edits have used artwork that I was going to use once I got round to those edits' covers (ie. High Tension & Matrix Dezionized). I don't know what I'll do about my covers for those edits yet as they are now very similar to Rik's. When I get some free time within the next 2 weeks I will work on them a bit. I also made a label template, so next time I post about these covers I'll show you guys what that looks like.

Help Wanted: Newsgroup Users... Please Help Me
Time

I know this is slightly better-suited to the Off-Topic forum, but I felt it would get better noticed here. I would like to PiF some Transformers DVDs to some friends of mine here in Australia for New Year’s. There is a blog called Karyuudo Fansubs that details the releases they have posted in alt.binaries.dvd.anime (they used to use a DC++ hub, but were requested to stop). Anyway, these discs are essentially DVD Rips of the Japanese DVDs with their own english translation subtitles. They have released the following:

  • Transformers Zone

    • Transformers: Car Robots Volume 1
    • Transformers: Robot Masters Volume 3

Zone is a brand-new release and Car Robots is now receiving a repost. I do not know if Robot Masters is available at the moment. My plea of help is this: Would somebody be kind enough to download these DVDs for me from the newsgroups? I was slowly getting them from the hub they used, but now they are no longer available there and I cannot use the newsgroups with my current ISP. I would gladly offer to send some DVDs your way in return (after I get some more blank DVD-Rs for Christmas). For a list of the preservation DVDs I have, I’ll let you know by email or something (only those of you considering downloading these TF DVDs for me though).

    Please help me. Pretty please?
