Falle, that's an idea that hasn't been attempted before (imitating the Alvin style for the OT for the prequels) and I have to say, that first try looks great. I hope you can get some smoke plumes, a ship and some distortion in there. I'm liking the look. Nice work.

Thank, again. When I get home, I'll try and fix something up, hoping they'll look better! I need some shots of ships though..

I have just uploaded a small pack of 'Clone Wars' wallpapers here. Perhaps you can get a vehicle out of one of these?

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

In regards to needing a foreign 5.1 track, can I suggest you contact ADigitalMan. I think it was he who utilised the German mix to get rid of the "wesa free" cries at the end of the ROTJ 2004 DVD. I can't recall for certain whether the mix was 5.1 or not, but I think it was. The 2004 Holland DVDs also provide a 5.1 French mix, somebody on these boards might have them if you ask around.

Info & Help Wanted: Hey Hey its the final episode - "Hey Hey, It's Saturday"
Time
Nice to see a fellow Australian want to preserve something Australian.

It's been years since I've seen any "Hey, Hey It's Saturday" (haven't watched any of the "By Request" specials). This 4-hour episode you're talking about, is I assume the one when the show ended all those years ago? I can't help either way, just curious and I am interested in such a preservation. I loved Red Faces.

By the way, Craig, can you think of any other Australian TV that would be worth tracking down and preserving? I only have current stuff on my PC, like Glasshouse, Rove Live and Spicks & Specks.

Also, I was toying with the idea of putting together a disc or two of interview segments, commercials and that sort of thing that might interest our international friends. For example, there are many hidden gems on Rove that deserve to be seen by those in the USA.

The Plissken Files Project (* unfinished project *)
Time
Ash595, I can't offer any material, however I am intrigued by this project and would love to see it finished.

Actually, I can offer the font used for the titles of the films (I believe it's called 'Chisel' ... or 'Chisel ~something~'). I know you might intend for the cover to be using the font you're using - it does look cool, but perhaps you'd like this font anyway for menus or whatever.

Hey, I know the feeling. I can't seem to sort out the printer settings to print at the right colors and everything comes out slightly hued or darker than its supposed to. :/ Oh well. I'll upload the cover to yousendit and you can host it how you see fit. Will edit this post later with the link...

Dawn Of The Dead Ultimate Edition Volume 2-UPDATE Discs 1-4 (Released)

It might still happen, you never know. Still, I'm just saying it would be downloaded many times upon release.

Anyway, the other reason for this post is that I couldn't find the image on savini.com that you mentioned. I think it is the one I've utilised below. Note: It is just a placeholder. I still need to find it in high-res:

Dawn Of The Dead Ultimate Edition Volume 2-UPDATE Discs 1-4 (Released)

Darthcarr:
No problem on the cover. That'll make it easier for me to make the red/white version unique. Can you provide me with a LQ version of this image so I can find it in higher quality?

My thoughts on DVD-ROM content: Well, the radio shows and podcasts could be DVD-ROM material, as well as possibly the score as bigrob has offered. However, any TV specials should probably go on another disc. I think 3 have been mentioned in this thread so far.

crazyrabbits is right y'know, if we're going to have the movie with commentary tracks, we might as well put the score on the disc in the form of an isolated score track. That reminds me... I have to get my Ghostbusters one finished. :/

And finally, on the topic of creating the Dawn of the Dead: Ultimate Cut... this would be extensive, however, if this were to be done, then this set would become very much a wanted piece on the torrent sites by all DOTD fans.

daveytod:
I've emailed you in regards to the screenshots. As for the extra logo on the spine, I just dumped a strip of logos onto the cover. They will actually be smaller when I've finalised them and then that DVD logo will be on the back.

boon23:
Yeah. Ironically, boon23, I actually wanted to feature the Tony & Michelle pic you used for the back cover, as well as the CG Jack headshot you used on the front. I just couldn't find the images. If you've got them please send them to me at klokwerk@gmail.com (just want to add the pictures to my little collection of 24 The Game images). So, yeah, my cover might have turned out like yours if I'd found those images.

In the end I used a small DVD-insert advertisement for the game that I found when I bought Season 1 of 24 on DVD. Nice and cheap price and it contains all 6 discs in one single-width case. Excellent space-saver.

Just send the screenshots through to klokwerk at gmail dot com and I'll try to work out the aspect ratio. If you could open your DVD in PowerDVD or something and use the "Show Info" option that shoul tell you what format the sound is in.

Here's what the cover looks like at the moment (the 2nd DVD logo is just lumped with the other logos on the back as I'm unsure which to use at the moment):

Daveytod, I did some tweaking to my cover. I am ready to upload it bar two things: I need some screenshots (otherwise I'll just use the shots that were featured on the back of the game's case) and I need to know which logos I need to put on it.

For the logos, I need to know: is it PAL/NTSC, do you want the "PlayStation 2" logo on the cover, what's the sound (eg. Dolby Digital 2.0?), what aspect ratio is the video (1.78:1? Various?) and any other logos you want me to put on the cover.
