SW fonts

That's a great idea Sluggo. I did that myself once for a crawl template anyway. Though for "Episode I (Lowercase)" you might want to suggest "Albertus MT" which is the actual font. The fanmade EPISODEI font just has "Trajan (Standard)" as the uppercase and "Albertus MT" as the lowercase. It is an option for those people who don't have access to Trajan Pro and Albertus MT though which are both pay fonts (well, Trajan/Trajan Pro is anyway).

Request: Edits and Xvids - file size limits help
Time
I'm a quality-whore so I love all the DVD versions that get released. However, I rarely use torrents to get them as they do take forever for me (512k does not equal broadband). All of the edits/fan-preservations that I have on DVD-Rs are either freebies from generous people or trades/PiF chains.

I can understand where you're coming from about wanting a smaller file to see if it's worth comitting to downloading a DVD version. I have been thinking lately that MP4's might be a good way to go. Instead of Xvid there could be an MP4 version (which would be around the same size as an Xvid or less) and then two criteria would be fulfilled:
1. There is a smaller version of an edit to sample before trying to get a DVD-R version
2. That smaller version would be in iPod/PSP format and would allow people to watch the video on the go.

Is that such a bad idea? I think a few of OCP's projects have versions like this ("Return of the Ewok" and "The Thief and the Cobbler: Recobbled Cut" spring to mind).

Idea: The 1976 crawl
Time
It would be interesting to see a recreated lost cut. We all know it wouldn't be 100% accurate as that isn't possible - but it would be fun. The '76 Star Wars logo is something I'd never seen before. Very interesting.

When I downloaded the file to take a look however... the first thing I thought was: Jambe Davdar presents The Star Wars. Okay he'd probably have a much cooler name, but I guess it would just be cool to see that crawl in a docu-film like Building Empire. I have Deleted Magic of course and love it but only more is to be gained if Jambe decides to one day do a Star Wars one.

Ideas: James Bond re-edit suggestions...
Time
I've actually just started watching the special features on every UE Bond DVD (I bought the collection). The "Inside Dr. No" documentary on Dr. No (which was on the SE DVD as well) mentions the 1954 B&W telemovie production and even shows the guy who must've appeared on-screen beforehand to introduce it. I think it was said that the 1960's CR DVD has an incomplete version of the 1954 telemovie and that someone on these boards had acquired the full-thing and was going to put it on a Bond disc. Does anybody know where on the forum that info is (ie. what thread)?

It's a neat idea. I've been wanting to get a copy of the NSNA edit but haven't been able to yet. Some other edits that make these two films more 'Bondian' would be cool.

Your ideas sound alright though I haven't seen either the original B/W CR or the "Tailor of Panama". Do you have copies of them to edit? Or are you suggesting that others take on these ideas?
