Here’s a photo of the book speeder with the wheels photoshopped out, for a better idea of what it’ll look like on screen.

I went on my own little twitter rant just now, not sure if anyone’s interested in sharing it. My intent was to explain the problem to the reddit types who think it’s a non-issue without making it about taste.
Pegg is a good idea. I already tweeted at Johnson. Are we doing the short version or what? I almost tweeted the long one at Patton Oswalt a couple hours ago but I thought it would be better with the stripped down message, should it materialize.
Not well. Between Harmy’s post and the OT.com account’s, we’re only looking at about 115 retweets. we need to get it in the hands of someone with a following. Hello Greedo? Red Letter Media?
I tweeted the current version at the Collider Jedi Council guys. I think our best hope is probably to get this picked up by someone who’s better at Twitter than we are.
Why not both? Short letter in the image with a link to the long one on the site.
I just tweeted it at Rian Johnson. Anyone know of any other high-profile OOT partisans within the organization?
EDIT: spelling.
Right, but in the image it has “Star wars and it’s two sequels”.
You’ve got the wrong “its” in the eighth paragraph.
Star Wars Show today talked about the 40th, no mention of any announcements, so nothing’s happening tomorrow.
It isn’t possible that Vanity Fair would have that scoop, is it? I read today that they’d be publishing articles every hour on the hour starting at 6:00 a.m. EST tomorrow, but I assume it’s all TLJ stuff.
Who is that next to Finn?
New character revealed at Celebration, apparently called Rose Tico. They didn’t reveal much, but I guess she’s a Resistance mechanic that gets dragged into whatever mess Finn is in.
The traditional Vanity Fair issue will be coming out this week. Here are the four covers:

A couple of things jumped out at me immediately. One is that Luke has the glove from the shot in the trailer with the hand running over the pages of the ancient book, so that’s definitely him. Also, in the text of the article Kelly Marie Tran’s character gets a full name: Rose Tico. As far as I know, we only knew the first name until now.
It never even occurred to me until now that they might not be. Good god, they’d better be.
All right, now I believe it’s never ever going to happen.
not a fan of that design, it looks like a book!
Ha, I was just going to say how much I love that one.
i’ve recently been digging the Team Blu GOUT upscale for SW and Dreamaster’s denoised Grindhouse ESB. Still sticking with Harmy’s ROTJ because it’s the only high def version I know of apart from the Grindhouse, which is a little too raw for my tastes. I find myself more drawn to stuff that comes from a single source these days than the Frankenstein approach of the DE though, even if the quality does take a hit.
I didn’t have much time to come up with my own headcanon of the prequels anyway (I only saw the OT for the first time three years or so before TPM came out), but I was always way more interested in what happened after the OT than before it. I just sort of took Obi-Wan’s explanations in the films at face value and then went back to wondering what Luke ended up doing after ROTJ.

Thanks for posting that, I came across some of Jenny Dolfen’s art a few months ago and wanted to look it up again but I couldn’t remember her name. I really like her take on Tolkien.
Also, I saw a notebook a couple weeks ago that had the art from the Burger Chef poster with the droids as a cover.
r/StarWarsLeaks is pretty pro-OUT (they clamor for any content at all), but a post like that over there would (rightly) be shouted down for not being news.
Bluray ISO format like the original Grindhouse would be marvellous!
Yes, but only if the DTS-HD tracks are included. Otherwise, you’re just adding steps.
Still 20 years ago.
What’s going on with the credits? Has Grindhouse always spazzed out at the end like that and I just haven’t ever let it play out or did something go wrong when you exported this?
Heh, I just bought this crushed ice tray last weekend, which I guess makes a post-Battle of Yavin Death Star.
I’ve got the 2016 LPs and I think they’re great. They sound much better than the 1997/2004 CDs, although they’re less complete.
“Something unforgettable we remember” is redundant. Of course we remember it, you just said it’s unforgettable.
