Movies that have never been released in original form on DVD

Fucking Bullshit

Lucas did not label them originals did he. The Special Editions are the Star Wars trilogy. There is no false advertising. What Disney did to Fantasia is totally different. Censoring a movie without the permission of the original filmmakers and then labeling in original uncut is blasphemous. Completly blasphamous. Not labling is totally different then false labling.

Yes but the Special Editions were made by the original filmmaker. I have never heard anyone involved in the original trilogy bad mouth the Special Editions. I only have a problem if the studio censors a movie like what is being done with Fantasia. What pisses me off more then anything is that Disney labled the DVD original uncut. How dare Disney lie like that. It is a waste and a disgrass to the memory of Walt Disney.

The acting is suppose to be stupid and childish. The whole point is to show how such behavior can lead to disaster. People complain about the acting of Jedi to be wooden but thats because Jedi are trained not to show emotion. Thats like saying the acting of the Terminator is wooden. The acting in the prequals is fine.

The movies on the list are movies that have never been on DVD in there original form. Never have and maybe never will. James Camerons Aliens was first released on DVD as a Special Edtion only release it took four years to come out in original form on the Quadrilogy. I thought that the enhanced animation on the Lion King really made the movie come alive. I didn't like the censorship in Who Framed Roger Rabbit but only an idiot would deny themselves a movie as great as Who Frammed Roger Rabbit over a couple missing frames. I don't know about you but I never watch a movie frame by frame. I also hated Fantasias censorship. This the studio not the filmmakers altering a movie which I hate.

Additions to list

American Graffetti
Alterations - digitally enhanced sky

Indiana Jones Trilogy
Alerations - Production equitment and set removal.

Changes in 2004 DVDs
Time
I doubt any Special Edition lovers will be against the additional changes that Lucas will I repeat will but in the 2004 DVDs. While it has not been confirmed by Lucusfilm the digital bits has three reliable sources which I believe are right. Still these changes will most likely be minor. Similar to the changes on the Indiana Jones DVDs. The majority of changes will probably come in the final 2007 Ultimate Edtions.

Heres a new transcript from the digital bits Rumor mill.

Yeah, we know this is going to get some people's undies in a bunch again... but we can say with some confidence now that when Lucasfilm and Fox release the Star Wars Trilogy on DVD in September, the films ARE going to include new footage. We've confirmed "unofficially" with three separate sources, each in positions to know, that at least SOME new footage is being added to the films, and that more special effects enhancements, tweaks and fixes are being done. We're also told that Lucasfilm MAY include additional deleted scenes for the trilogy on the bonus disc, separate from the material added into the films themselves (rather like they've done with Episodes I & II). We've been told of at least a few changes that have been made, but we're going to wait to confirm them better before we post anything. So, okay... we're now officially intrigued. We'll post more when we can.

BOYCOTT (the 2004 OT SE DVD release)
Time
I hardly noticed that cencorship on the death star. Its the same as the censorship in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Some scenes were censored a bit and I didn't like it but such small unnoticable censorship is not enough to boycott a movie as great as Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Anyone who could deny themselves one of the best movies over a couple missing frames needs to rethink.
