Last line of episode 3?
Time
You forget about the future Ultimate Editions. He plans on spucing up the fights and making the effects on the same level as the prequals. What I would like is if Obi-Wan makes a jump towards Vader. Vader blocks it followed by the line "Your powers are weak old man." This would not only connect with the prequals but would make that line make more sense. I wouldn't mind alot more speed in that fight. The fight in The Empire Strikes Back should be left alone. It makes sense Vader would fight slower since he want to bring Luke in alive and Luke has little training so that could work too.

The only good thing about Monday night. I love those great headlines that somehow got into the newspaper. Jay can't take all credit since that would go to all of the editers around the world who screwed up. Heres some. Yes they are real.

True but for me the tail thing is the only thing I don't like about the scene. Though I liked it when I first saw him but when I really thought about it why would Jabba let Han literally step all over him. Still I can't wait to see the new improved digital Jabba on the DVD.

Funniest Movie Ever

For me its Dumb and Dumber. You just can't beat these idiots and there complete lack of commen sense. Jim Carry and Jeff Danials are fantastic. Everything they say is funny. Lines like.

"His head fell off"
"That John Denvner is full of shit man"
"Samsonite, I was way off"
"You are in luck. Theres a town about 3 miles that way I am sure you will find two guys over there"
"I desperatly want to make love to a school boy"
"I fell off a jet way again"
"You know I guess there right senior citizens although slow and dangerous behind the wheel can still serve a purpose"
"I would never do anything to offend a man of your size"

Changes in 2004 DVDs
Time
Personally I like all three of the confirmed changes. I agree the digital Jabba in The Phantom Menace looks much better then the one in A New Hope and I like that the effect is going to be fixed. Like I said fixing the lightsabers would have been one of the first changes I would have made if I was improving the trilogy. The Emperor change I am kind of neutral towards. More changes I would like.

1. Restoration of original Han and Greedo scene

2. Deletion of black matte line around the racor.

3. Han should not step on Jabbas tail.

Okay, so I guess you can still argue The Exorcist since the rerelease a couple years ago did have it in there. C'est la vie. The others, though. Damn good stuff that never should have been cut.

Are the Evolution scenes available on the DVD? I never saw those.

Yes they are and in anamorphic video. Evoluition is a very funny movie and those scenes would have made it funnier.

Deleted Scenes that have been reinsurted into the movie don't count.

Terminator- All of them. I really liked all of the deleted scenes on the DVD and would love an extended cut of this movie.

Evolution - The Extended Chasing the Bird, the Alternate Ending, and Denese dumping Ira. All of these scenes were very funny and should have been kept.

Attack of the Clones - Padmes family scene I think should have been kept.

Small Soilders - One scene where he says "they think were just like them" was very funny and should have been kept

Rat Race - Some very funny material was cut out. Though the movie was still hilarous without it I think it should have been kept.

And the films being the special editions, these DVDs are a box of crap.

What more can you want. I think the bonus disc might have more extras then any other single DVD. True I would have definutly wanted one disc per movie that included deleted scene. Like the prequals got. Still this is more then enough to make the DVDs worth buying.

Star Wars: The Independent Films feature length documentary - The story of Star Wars is the story of the most successful independent series film ever produced. It's the story of a Hollywood outsider named George Lucas and a low-budget labor of love space saga that defied the odds and reinvented the rules. It's the story of a revolution born of a dream. It's the story of an independent filmmaker who had to innovate and invent an entirely new way of creating motion pictures. It's the story of a fundamental paradigm shift in the creative process made, not by the studio system, but by a single filmmaker with a simple dream. (150 min.)

The Evolution of Characters featurette - Get an in-depth look at how all your favorite characters came to be with exclusive concept art and discussion with George and the people who shaped what ultimately became out favorite heroes and villains. Includes a separate still/video gallery cut to Star Wars music with access to artwork and classic scenes for each major character. (30 min.)

The Influence of Star Wars featurette - Without Star Wars, there would be no... The groundbreaking special effects that were pioneered to make Star Wars movies not only helped viewers escape to a galaxy far, far away, but they changed the way every movie was made thereafter. Experience never before seen effects innovations from the films and learn how pivotal the films were to modern effects wizards and filmmakers. (20 min.)

Lightsabers/Fights featurette - Forget laser pistols, the lightsaber is the coolest weapon in the Star Wars galaxy. What were George's influences for creating the lightsaber? How did Mark Hamill, Alec Guiness, and Darth Vader stunt people approach wielding a saber? How did the effects guys figure out the lightsaber beam? How did each fight escalate from the previous one? And what influences did this creation have on movies thereafter? (10 min.)

1977 Featurette - Transport people back in time to the opening of each Star Wars film. Menus will showcase all the pop culture features from the 1977 opening such as: TV references, toy ads, promotional partner commercials, news clips, songs inspired by Star Wars, Star Wars magazine and newspaper coverage, classic video game demos. George talks about finally bringing Vader back to the series and teases about Anakin's descent to the Dark Side and the powers of seduction in play. Section Two: The Costume - Black is back. For the last Star Wars movie ever and the birth of the ultimate villain, a new costume was forged. This segment answers some key questions: who created it? was it made for Hayden? Section Three: The Actors - Finally I get to become Vader. Key interviews with the cast (including Hayden) and crew sharing their thoughts and experiences about working on the last Star Wars film and finally seeing the completion of the Saga. (10 min.)

Stills - A comprehensive gallery of posters from around the world, classic artwork, and never-before-seen photos from all three films (approximately 300 images.)

DVD-ROM Features - DVD ROM link to exclusive Star Wars website.

I am a bit skeptical of the length. I calculate that as well over 4.5 hours. More then a DVD can hold. I am also a bit dissipointed at the lack of deleted scenes like I was with Indiana Jones. Hopefully the Ultimate Editions will have one disc of extras for each movie.
