19. PG-13 movies where there is alot of nudity but it is never shown

20. Clones with memories of there previous life

21. Villians who gloat about killing the hero instead of just killing the fucker. (Why my favorite villian is the Terminator)

spider-man 2
Time
Just saw Spider-Man 2. Overall I prefer the original. Spoiler warning. First of all Docter Octopus was done wrong. He was never just a good guy who was corrupted by the tenticles. Doc Oc in the comic was one of the most evil of Spider-Mans villians. He just isn't as evil anymore. Also the movies gaps between action sequences were way to long. With the first movie getting the origin out of the way it could have used that to make the films pace work better. It has long gaps with no action or any word from the villians. The movies effects are excellent and definutly an improvement. The fight sequences between Docter Octopus and Spider-Man are excellent. The movie does have some good emotional momments and some good intellegent comedy. Overall its a very good movie and I liked it but I was expecting it to be the best. The Girl Next Door is still the years best movie.

7. When a hero is outnumbered yet still wins because the bad guys choose to make some idiotic display in front of them.

8. Singular monsters that never die

9. Ventalation ducts that lead everywhere and can always hold the wait of multiple humans and nobody ever thinks of looking for them.

10. Horror movies where the main charcters just do everything wrong (there is a hell of alot of them)

Commen movies cliches that you believe need to stop

1. When a hero has to ponder on whether to save one person or an entire city, country, or planet.

2. When the main character lies for absolutly no reason

3. When a villian decides to kill the hero with pulles or sharks or other devices that give the hero several minutes to escape

4. When the villian gives the hero a last request

5. Where several bullets are fired at the hero but for some reason miss

6. When someone with powers wishes he didn't have them

If the scene isn't the way it was originally intended it is broke. The wampa change might be my favorite Special Edition change. I never liked that scene originally. It was confusing, stupid, and not scary at all. Now the scene is so much improved.

I did know he lied in Bowling for Columbin. He made it look like a banks free gun offer just let him walk out with it. In reality Moore had to wait 2 weeks and was given a backgroud check. If this isn't a total and complete lie I don't know what is.

and the wampa scene wasnt that bad but was definatly not needed....

Lucas had attempted to creating a good Wampa puppet back in 1980. Unfortunity it didn't work properly so they had to show very little of it. The Special Edition makes that scene so much better.

Jimbo, you sounded very reasonable in this last post of yours. I feel like I can discuss with you. And just between you and me, if I did vote for one of the major party candidates, it would be Bush. He's firm with his positions, and even though I don't agree with a fair amount of what he's firm on, at least he does stick to his guns, unlike Kerry. Is JK for or against the Patriot Act? Never could figure that out, along with many of his other stances. Oh, I get it...he's BOTH for AND against the same stuff, because he doesn't have to have views, since people are only voting for him because he's not a certain George W. Bush.

John Kerry voted for the Patriot Act. He is no better then Bush on this issue. I hate the act. Still Bush beats Kerry on several things. Gay Marriage, Affermative Action, Taxes, and terrorism all seem like terrible things to leave in the hands of John Kerry. For all of Bushes imperfections Kerry is alot worse. Bush I guess is the lesser of two evils.

That scene had dread, you spent it cringing at every hit and wondering with Luke if Vader had told the truth. Now you sit and think, "Is the Falcon going to make, but, more importantly, will Vader's shuttle make it in time for his enterence to the bridge?"

I can't even watch the original Cloud City. The new Cloud City is so much better. It simply makes the scene come alive. The Wampa was originally intended to be that way. I think seeing the Wampa is more exciting and makes alot more sense.

Personally I do not dislike a single change to The Empire Strikes Back. I personally liked "Alert my Star Destroyer to prepare for my arrival" it was a cool Vader line in my opinion. Also we don't know for sure it all happened the same night the death star was destroyed. It could have been weeks later for all we know.

It would be nice to have third partys get some more press. Personally I wish someone better then Bush would run. Someone who won't destroy the environment or try to take our freedom with his God awful Patriot Act. Still Kerry is such a wrong direction for the country. The last thing we need is another Bill Clinton. Bush isn't perfect but he is a Hell of alot better then Kerry. What sucks is I turn 18 6 months after the election. So I can't vote. Though I know my parents are voting for Bush.

Actually I liked Harry Potter 3. I just think it could have been better if it was longer and kept more stuff from the book. Personally The Chronicles of Riddick was confusing. Pitch Black was easy to understand.

can someone tell me what the current US death toll is because of this war???

These troops volunteered to die for there country. Its terrible that they are dead but thats the price of war. Saddam needed to be taken out. He was a madman. He did not deserve to run a country. He was a potential threat to the United States. Its the attitude you are with us or the terrorists. He was not with us so he needed to be taken down.

I personally don't agree with Bush on everything. I hate to death his Patriot Act. I also disagree with some of his environmental policies. But come on. Kerry is supporter of higher taxes, less money for our troops, affermative action, and gay marriage. This is so horrible. I am headed to college in two years. I don't want any positions of mine being given to some lazy black ass who has worse grades then me. No I am not racist. But if his grades are worse he should have a lower position. Its so unfair.
