Those arguements suck. Not the movies. The Phantom Menace is a good movie and Attack of the Clones is the best movie. Everything in Attack of the Clones is absolutly perfect.

That proves me right. Its called reading. Its a nice thing to do. The digital cinema version included sparks out of Jangos jet pack and a scene of Padme grabing Anakins hand which were not in the film version. The added line "To be angry is to be human was not in the digital cinema movie"

Those are only a few frames. Be honest if you don't watch it frame by frame would you even notice. Plus Bobas voice hasn't been confirmed yet. Theforce.net admits there not sure. I honestly loved Bobas old voice and would not want them to fuck with it. Also I like the celebration sequence. Also the dance sequence was originally intended. It was attempted. Yeah it sucks but its nothing compared to several garbage that was always in Return of the Jedi. Ewoks beating clones.

1. People who prefer the originals are prequel haters. Those who prefer the Special Editions are prequel likers.

2. Fans of the original trilogy have done nothing but bitch at Lucas and then ask Lucas to repect them. Its absolutly sick. After how wonderful Attack of the Clones was I can understand Lucas's frustration. There is simply no pleasing these people.

3. Releasing the originals in the same pack would result in either higher price, less extras, or both.

4. The original versions are work prints in manys mind. Why not release ten versions to show how the movies evolved. Or just show the final version.

He was always planning to release the movies on DVD. Making him release something earlier is completly different then making him change his mind on releasing something at all. There is a chance but like the bits says it will be on his own terms. No fans will ever convince him to change his mind. Personally I highly doubt he will ever release the originals but I will egknowledge the possibility. Don't hold your breath though.

Better still, I'd eat a whole freakin' herd of Bantha if Lucas would just restore the Han/Greedo scene in A New Hope so that Han shoots first again. Anyone care to join me? It never says Lucas has restored the scene. Also Lucas has at least modified the scene to not look so technologically bad.

Actually the bits pleaded for Lucas to restor Han and Greedo scene. They never actually reported he would. That was just a request. Also such editions have been reported for a long time. Just about every Star Wars source has pretty much made it sure that new versions are coming. Heres your link

First example of lightsabers could be the result of remastering but the second example is far too different. It is definutly a fix. The hallway is also definutly changed. Making the death star bigger and therefore improving the shot. The death star explosion looks like the only difference is better remastering for the DVD and no other change. I wish the french trailer included shots of the new Jabba animation the bits promised but I guess we will have to wait for that. Yes the lack of fixing on the blending is disipointing. I still have hope for the Racor.

These lines were in the Theatrical version shown in cinemas which had digital projectors. The version available on dvd is one of the versions shown in cinemas so it was taken from a theatrical cut and was not just added for dvd.

I am dissipointed that the lightsaber blend in Return of the Jedi is still unfixed. Still this is proof that the lightsabers in A New Hope have been fixed. As I have been saying for a while. I do agree the death star explosion looks no different.

The original ewoks song sucked. I am glad its gone. Not that the new one is much better. I also really hope that Lucas fixes the Racor lines. It makes no sense that he left those in tact. That would have been one of the first changes I would have made. No word on whether this has been fixed but it is a definute possibility. There are rumors that it has. In my opinion the biggest problem with the Special Editions is what they didn't change.
