I'm thinking lawsuit...
Time
Actually with The Lion King. It has two versions on the disc. Original theatrical and Special Edition. The only difference between the two is a new song which is simply branched. However disney did change the animation in a few places throughout the movie. The singing crocodiles, the waterfal, and the polon dust scenes have been reanimated and no option on the DVD is given to watch it without this. Therefore lableing this as the original version is incorrect. As for Fantasia when it originally was premired in the 1940s the segment with Greek Mythology featured black centaurs that acted as servents to the white centaurs. They have been removed on all video release. If that is not bad enough Disney labled the DVD original and uncut. While the editing on the DVD is different then earlier VHS releases it is still edited and therefore Disney is blatenly lying. Lucas never labled this release orginal or uncut. It just says Star Wars trilogy. The Special Edition is the Star Wars trilogy and therefore there is no legal problem with what Lucas is doing.

My favorite movie ending of all times has to be the original Planet of the Apes. "Damn you, God damn you all to hell." I love endings like that.

My second favorite ending is Terminator 3 Rise of the Machine ending. "Maybe the future has been writen I don't know all I know is never keep fighting and I never never will. The battle has just begun"

Third has to be Dumb and Dumber. "You are in luck. Theres a town about two miles that way I am sure you will find two guys over there"

If you'll notice, all the Clonetroopers have the exact same voice. They are fully aged, to about the same that Boba Fett would eventually be. An older Boba Fett would have to sound like Jango Fett if their DNA is IDENTICAL. Twins don't have completely identical DNA, thus the changes. Clones do.

I understand what you are saying about the "plot holes". I think Lucas realizes that in order to create a better story arch and make the Prequels better, he has to change some things about the original.

Identical Twins do have identical Deoxyribosenucleic acid. Identical Twins are natures clones. If identical twins can have different voices then so can an artificial clone. Boba can have a different voice without it being inconsistant. Therefore I don't think he should change Bobas voice since I like Bobas old voice.

I'm tired of people whining about Lucas changing Star Wars. It's his movies. They are still great movies. If they came out in say, 1977 with all the changes he has made, they would still be the uber-hits they are. You all (myself included) would still worship them. Lucas is simply trying to tie all 6 of his films together. He's fleshing out scenes and characters. He's making the films the best he possibly can, in his mind. I'm sure he feels he has grown as a film maker, and thinks that as his final sign off to these films...these things are the way they should be.

If the scene of the Sandstorm in ROTJ is restored, I would also like to see footage added of Boba Fett getting out of the pit. If not into the film, then as a special feature. I'm not sure of when the new TV show is supposed to take place based on him, but if it is after ROTJ this would make sense. If it isn't, then nevermind.

Personally I disagree. It makes sense that a Clones voice can change the same way an identical twins voice can be different. I loved Bobas old voice. Still I wouldn't hate this change. The only change idea I hate is Haydens head.

Lucas Even Screws Up Jabba's Character
Time
I don't mind the arguements about Jabba. I do mind him believing that Attack of the Clones is lacking story. It has one of the most complex, intellegent storylines on cinema. Its story has refferences to the fall of Rome, Shackspeare (don't know how its spelt), and a little Tolkien. It has all the same dark feel and brilliance of The Empire Strikes Back. It goes further with its kick ass action. Seeing Yoda fight is worth the price of admission.
