Help Wanted: real ghostbusters cartoon - is there a way to fix the saturation of the show? the reds are so bright the bleed into other parts of the image.
Time

no i really don't know what you talking about right now.

i thought you were talking about me doing some of things i asked other people to do.

if you can tell me if there's another thing please go right ahead and i'll try to fix it.

i tried to read all of what he posted but that's kinda a lot to digest.

i think i figured it out but when i adjust it it seems to changes the color's brightness too much.

i guess that can't be help considering it's dvd and not blu ray.

which being an 80s cartoon it can't be helped there's no way to get it on blu ray without it being an upscale it's hopeless.

mallrats 35mm film print restoration needed because blu ray has dnr and edge enhancement.

chasing amy 35mm or 16mm i don't know because it said the print released in theaters was the 35mm blow up. print needed because of blu ray has dnr don't know if it had edge enhancement done.

jay and silent bob strike back 35mm print restoration needed because the blu ray looks like a dvd upscale.

Any was super 16, it would be grainy as hell but not unrefined

so which print of chasing amy even exists 16mm or 35mm blow up doll?

 Yuck.

Info: Discussion on <strong>80's cartoons</strong> on DVD....bad aliasing (jaggies)!

Does anyone here own any 80's cartoons on DVD?  I'm noticing terrible aliasing on G.I. Joe (shout factory) and Masters of the Universe (Mill Creek).  Is this actually on the source or is it something wrong with the way I'm displaying it through my PS3 / HDTV?  It's very distracting at times!

is there a way to adjust the saturation on cartoons on dvd like if there's too much red where the red bleeds into other colors?

Feel free to put any requests in this thread.

Some boards are very specific with placement of threads, to keep them easy to read and follow. Some moderators keep a very tight ship, so don't take it personally. It does make for a much easier to navigate site, but I also enjoy the more free flowing sites, they can be more fun,  though it does often make it hard to find information. There are all kinds out there.

I tend to ramble, and go off topic all the time, and post in the wrong place, so am quite used to my posts being removed without warning :)

do you know who'd take my requests to heart and maybe make a project out of them?
