Here's the deal guys:

I have a print, I want to help. But I am not interested in becoming an active member of this or any other forum, or seeking out somebody to scan my print, or spearheading a campaign to get this restoration done. If you know of a current a project where my print could be useful, or are planning to put one together, then point me in the right direction (and don't ask em to join another forum unless there's already a specific thread about this project). Otherwise, I hope you don't expect me to do anything about it on my own. I admire y'alls passion for this issue, and want to help you see it through, but it is not my passion. I am a resource, not an activist.

You don't have to be an active member i don't think. I think you just have sign up to fanres.com look for someone who might be able to help.

Hey someone said this on blu-ray.com is this true (I can't imagine a group of amateurs being able to come up with anything better than what has already been released on blu. Especially without access to the negative. There's no way a worn out print from a private collector is going to produce a better quality image) By the way i don't think you're amateurs in the slightest

Went to see the first film at the Royal Albert Hall yesterday, accompanied by a live orchestra. A terrific presentation, and editorially interesting - it had an overture and intermission (the entr'acte was from BttF III), along with additional scoring for some previously music-less sections.

The picture was DCP, naturally.

What dcp version? The one we have or the one I saw at cineworld before the discs came out with the DNR

Are saying a non dnr dcp print of back to the future 2 exists?

Awesome i didn't think there was an hd source for that will it be better than the currant blu rays and are you working on scream 2 and 3 as well?

Please answer both question if you can.

This is why you come off sounding impatient^^^^

Most of the folks working on projects are busy.  They get in here when they can to answer questions.  You've asked both questions and then you end your query with what I put in bold.

It's not as if they are only going to answer 1 question then disappear.  You need to exercise a bit of patience with these folks.  Not to mention, your punctuation needs work ..... it reads like a Simpson's episode .....

example: Bart and Lisa asking at the same time .... Are we there yet?  Are we there yet?  Are we there yet?  Are we there yet?

Slow down a bit ..... think before you type, not as you type.  I hope this helps.

One i was trying to do the capitalization etc. people were complaining about with my grammar. Two i wasn't trying to rush him. i meant to say when you can. Three i thought i was suppose to capitalize please.

OK to all of you that PM'd me before wanting to help keep this SeedBox going, Vinnie said the price is $20 a month so if those of you that sent me a message before are still interested in keeping us alive and well at BT please send me a PM now and we can work out the details, Jason Goes to Hell is out now and Trick or Treat is coming up real soon, followed by Night of The Living Dead 1968 Special & Ultimate Editions.

Some titles in the works,
The Black Hole
Scream Uncut (possibly, need to get sources)
Transformers The Movie
and many, many more.....

Thanks

Is scream uncut going to be hd or sd?

It will be Blu-ray, we do not mess with DVD/SD lol, unless it is for extras, but not as our main video.

Scream 2 & 3 don't need any work, part 1 is the only one cut.

I meant an improvement over the original blu rays because the blu rays scream 2&3 are supposedly just as bad as the blu ray for scream 1. At least where transfers concerned.

so how does one get the better back to the future 2 video then since film prints of 1 and 2 are out of the question?

There are HDTV rips apparently but they are hard to find, but if someone has them it would be nice if they could share.

It's too bad because back to the future 2 remains the only film with a bad transfer and no way to get a good one

I'm sure he will be asked about that (and all the Pivot BS, OAR, etc)... and the Dr. Horrible sequel, and much much more, so no worries.  He has issued at least one very cryptic tweet on the subject recently, so it's on his radar for sure.

No, I'm not going.  Frink and I can never be in the same place at the same time.  It's either a superhero thing or a restraining order, I forget.  It's increasingly difficult to accomplish, though, because there are so many of them.  And so handsome.  So very handsome.

Yeah, I think it was the restraining order.

sorry about posting another reply but what day of comic con is joss whedon's panel?
